Momo's still the jealous type regardless of how much more stable his and Yuki's relationship has gotten, and Yuki isn't always the best about remembering when he's stuck his foot in it. With Rainbow City's establishment in full swing, Yuki and Momo keep getting assigned to jobs where they're not working together, and Yuki's getting pretty sick of it. decided to do this exceedingly last minute, i won't bump every time i post a chapter like i did with change rooms but should be updating about every 2 days assuming things don't go off the rails

i haven't posted for a bit since i've been doing roleplay stuff more than writing fandom-wise this year and the i7 anime has still not returned from the war, but i drew and pencil coloured this ref for momo as i'm playing him in a roleplay game i'm in at the moment (monsterfied by a combination of insect (moth + mantis) and fungi "souls" in an implant given on arrival to the setting, and setting is magitech 1920s-30s vibes hence the fashion choices) and i think it came out pretty ok so woe, bugshroom momo be upon ye. yes he's still painting all 30 of his claws red do you even have to ask

made some tenuto pans...momo's was easy!! and nice!!! because he got 3 jumps in his scene and i only had to fill in some background colour and frame stuff!!!! but yuki only got two so i couldn't do his full width without having to draw in far more than i was comfortable doing with shitty laptop mouse, photoshop and stubbornness. so i cropped down one side and attempted a janky draw-in of the missing bit of yuki's arm, which means these don't match on the tumblr preview b/c his is narrower but the heights and borders should match up in full view

love how 10 seconds of animated bivamp is enough to make the fandom absolutely unhinged. the tragic gay vampire au truly has too much power (also where's all the blood when momo's character got literally axed--)

Put together some reference collages for Momo's anime-original outfits (guest staring The Pen, cursed yuki foot, and Those Two Episodes of third beat because for some reason his second beat extra fit got more ref-useful airtime there than it did in second beat). Expecting to see at least one or two more for Fourth Beat because while his later Part 4 outfit is probably doable in the anime, his main Part 4 one is likely Not Happening for the same reasons as his Part 3 one not showing up in the anime (a.k.a. the hellscape of animating a garment with a complex all-over print).
