The RWBY hyperfixation is hitting me hard again

I've been timelining everything so I can insert my ROMA team into the story and have it be 'canon compliant' (they don't interact with the main RWBY characters like, at all), I've been redrawing/updating both ROMA and LCAF (ROMA for the 5th time and LCAF for the 3rd), and I've started to make random teams for the two Vytal Festivals my blorbos experience

BTW Blake's whole ass Menagerie timeline breaks my brain every time, cause how da fuck does travel work? 1 month to travel to Haven from Menagerie feels a bit weird, considering it took CFVY 3 months to get to Vacuo from Vale (same continent) , and RNJR + Qrow like 5/6 months to get from Patch to Mistral (different continents, but still closer than Menagerie) idk... and if the travel times are correct, then Blake hung out in Menagerie for like... 9-ish months before burning her house down if I'm doing my math right (which I'm also making a bunch of assumptions soo... my brain hurts)

Funny thing is this was the first pic i did of this series, cuz i'm gonna confess a lil thing to you guys... i really didn't care about Marius before his downfall =w=;; Like i got his deal and it was indeed interesting to see it develop, but my brain has already pretty full of Yorgrim and Briggsy and certainly a lot of Jericho to pay a whole lot of attention to him. But now, my interest is peaked and this image of Marius happily tangled in thorny vibes wouldn't leave my brain. We'll see how long that happiness will last, if it's even that to begin with >v>

I think this needs an important addendum:

Not only did Billie Eilish donate $11.5M, she also called out a room full of billionaires, including Mark Zuckerberg, directly to their faces, saying "If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? No hate, but, yeah, give your money away, shorties."

The $11.5M she's donating is about 1/4 if her net worth. Imagine if a billionaire did that? If Mark Zuckerberg donated 1/4 of his net worth, it would be about $55 BILLION... and he's still have over $100 billion left.

And, yet, unsurprisingly, people are mad at Billie Eilish for what she said and not at the billionaires for hoarding all the money and resources

they also forgot the part where they only found the baby because masha was screaming her head off bc she knew this baby was in danger. she went around outside the alley the next morning and yelled at passerby until she got one to follow her to the baby. she kept him warm all night and then made sure someone found him. she was adopted after this bc she was a stray and is in a loving home and is a hero

Kittens can’t regulate their own body temperature. That’s why they pile up.

Cats see us as colony members.

Masha saw a kitten that was on its own, no mommy, no other kittens to cuddle with. She instinctively knew that was a cold kitten. She knew that a kitten alone on a cold night was very likely to die. Because a kitten would have died too.

So, all she was doing was what any good colony member does - protecting the abandoned kitten. Then when the abandoned kitten’s mommy didn’t come back, she called the rest of the colony for help.

People have this bizarre idea that housecats don’t have a social sense. They do, and it saved this kid’s life. And possibly Masha’s too, as life on the streets is dangerous for a kitty.

We say “good dog” all the time, but Masha was being a very, very good cat…not just by human moral standards but by feline ones.

I did some cleaning and realized I wanted to try drawing the shapes of the spray bottle. I think it turned out pretty neat :)

Funky shapes again, as well as spooky vibes! Chandeliers always remind me of autumn and Halloween. Maybe because they're featured in spooky movies?

Technically, it's actually a deer glass etching one of my relatives did :) I can't really capture the insane detail in a 5 minute sketch, but I love it too much to not have it as a muse for my own art 🦌
