what languages do you speak? Do you have just one first language/language spoken when you were little? Multiple? Do you still speak them? How about ones you learned later? Are you fluent? that sort of thing

I’ll start! My first language is English, but I’ve been learning Spanish for five years and counting and I consider myself mostly fluent (not native level by any means but I can read/listen/write/speak well enough, and my abilities there aren’t much worse than in English, though my vocabulary is definitely less robust). I know a bit of French from my mom and middle school, and can figure some other things out à la Spanish. I can also swear in six languages (I don’t but I could lol)

My first language is english, most specifically Australian english (which is the rebelious teenager love child of British english and American english) (1)

I've been learning German for almost three years now and I can get by but I'm nowhere near fluent. (.5)

I also know the entire alphabet and some various other words in Auslan (Australian Sign Language [because we can't also be ASL]) (.1)

Also one of my friends speaks russian as their first language so I know various phrases in russian (.1)

well, i'm super boring because i can only speak english lol. i dropped spanish last year because i'm terrible at talking to people (it was basically just: words on paper good, words out of mouth bad). i've also been meaning to start learning auslan for the LONGEST time, but i've never gotten around to it...

I want to learn Russian but learning languages is very hard for me 😞

Uhh, I know English, Spanish, a bit of Chinese, and Japanese

English is my second language, I learnt it when I was a small kid at 4...the reason for it cuz my fam fr needed me to lock in at that age.

Spanish is my native language.

Chinese was actually part of the classes that I went to so it was a must to be taught and that's when I learnt how to speak chinese. I know how to say thank you, the numbers, hello, what's your name, love, etc etc

Japanese tho...is a bit cuz I went to Japan for a trip and learnt the basics like saying I'm sorry, Thank you (so much), hello, good morning, goodbye, see you soon, etc etc but my favorite? GONPAIIIII (Means cheers!)

But I really wanna learn full on Japanese, Russian, and Portuguese!!

(Yes...theyre both my native languages I started speaking english at age 3)

I self studied french and japanese once and knew a few basic words too like hello, goodbye, I am blank and stuff like that because I wanted to watch anime and miraculous ladybug without waiting for subtitles but I stopped because I realized I dont have use for it like im not going to live in another country to use it and I'm still going to read the subtitles anyway

I know a little of spanish because yk italian and spanish are similiar so I can udnerstand it but i can't reply you in spanish 😔✌️ the same situation is for french too because I CAN understand what you say (if you speak it slowly for me to understand XD) BUT I can't reply you in french and ik ik i need to work on it....maybe in the future?

And i'm learning Latin because of where i'm studying but I don't speak it only understand some words (thanks to the dictionary XD)

Oh! And I self studied a little of Arabic just because I was curious to study it but if I have to be honest... it's really difficult ( T∀T)

My first language is BM(Bahasa Melayu) but overtime I didn't really use it in my everyday talks, I still do but not as often. English is my second language and I'm pretty fluent in it, I speak mostly manglish (melayu+ English) so I may accidentally use melay slang in my text sometimes.
