canonically speaking once a cat is in starclan they stay there until they are forgotten by the living cats, this has been displayed in the books with the cats of skyclan I'm pretty sure.

Anyways, the focus of what I'm talking about is this, what cat first comes to mind when you think of the warrior cats series? Probably Firestar and for good reason, he's helped pretty much every single clan, he brought windclan back, freed shadowclan from Brokenstar, helped rebuild a lost clan, got Thunderclan through the war against the darkforest and more.

So the memory of him is bound to last so so many generations to come... but what about his loved ones? His best friends, his mate, his mentor, his own children, his father? How long could their memory possibly last when compared to his own, statistically speaking he's probably going to watch his own grandkids kits fade well he himself is still remembered.
