✧ They’re a Diasomnia first year who, like Yuu, is from another world (this is because they’re also involved in a personal oc project, hence being related to Evv who is NOT a Twst oc).

✧ They’re friends with Floyd, Lilia, and Ortho.

✧ Floyd calls them Ice Fish - which if i remember correctly is a fish from the Antarctic Ocean.

✧ Nettle calls Lilia “Mister Bat”.

✧ Before coming to NRC they worked as a Deadhand (oc world’s version of a gravekeeper, but like..different as to be a Deadhand you need to be able to commune with the dead seeing as it’s a term clipped from “the helping hand of the dead” - hence why there aren’t many these days.)

✧ Their most powerful spell attribute and one that would be on almost all of their cards is water, specifically the skills where it looks more like ice. They’re an ice mage.

✧ Nettle Verityne wasn’t their original name! They, in their world, were Elliot Vestrel, but they changed it to cut ties with their “family” after being left to die.

✧ They’re somewhere between young and you should’ve been dead centuries ago.

✧ They have a horrible limp due to their bad leg, using their staff as a makeshift cane.

✧ Nettle uses They/It. Primarily they, but they were often called an “it” as an insult so, like many other things about them, they’re deliberately twisting it into anything but to take their life back - as they realize how utterly fucked that was.

✧ If they don’t like a question they’ll tell you to ask the bird and pull out a random pidgeon.

✧ they’re an angry fantasy-equivalent-of-a-Victorian-era child that SHOULD have died in the war, however the little fucker ended up frozen and survived — they say that it was The Eternity’s doing and that it hates them (The Clock of Eternity is a figure from my work that is basically a time god of sorts. It does in fact like bullying them specifically for reasons I will not disclose here.) — because of this They’re like..constantly in this weird inbetween space between normal and on the verge of hypothermic, but they barely feel it anymore - having grown used to it.

✧ they regularly steal Floyd’s scarf and refuse to use any other ones, that’s why he’s always “losing” it.

✧ Often caught singing old radio jingles with Lilia.

✧ they don’t actively seek out talking to many people besides those three (Lilia, Floyd, Ortho) when left alone, but absolutely will if others approach first.

✧ they’re ambidextrous!
