Perish the Raven is a story about Sam, a runaway prince, trying to save his lover, Ivan, from execution. He's helped by Réy and Everett, and the three of them set sail to find Ivan. But there's a lot of things Réy snd Everett don't know about Sam.
Irregular Activity Detected (iad) is a story I hope to turn into a YouTube animation project or webcomic, and is about Bennet and Duffy, two kids sent to live with Bennet's aunt for the summer. But the town they're staying in isn't what it seems, and Bennet is determined to find out why.
Old Forgotten Roads is a story (and hopefully future webcomic) about a group of college students who used to be friends but all drifted apart, and the road trip that's their last chance to fix everything. i'm writing this with my bestie @not-a-gay-fangodess

disclaimer: i haven’t done a lot of research about the Avid and Marm situation. but from what i have read from other creators’ statements and the community’s discussions, i do not want to continue to include V!Avid in this fic.
vampires will never hurt you! has never been and will never be rpf, but i still do not want v!Avid in it anymore.
What does this mean for this fic?
while i do understand the separate-the-art-from-the-artist idea (hell, i love the mauraders), i am going to remove his character from vwnhy!. think what cc!Owen did with Outsiders, except much more thorough because of my ability to edit every event in this fic. i will likely also be archive-locking this fic. i’ve been considering that option for a while, but this has been the final push to do so.
this means that the fic will be going on a hiatus while i remove all mentions of him from it, including past chapters. some of his more important actions will be given to other characters.
Who would replace Avid in this fic?
no one character will take on all his actions, but i will likely be allocating them to Sausage, Ren, Martyn, and Abolish.
i also have the option to use an oc instead. Réy (she/he) is an ex witch hunter, and could easily fulfill Avid’s role (but not in any shipping bc she has a partner <3). his personality is slightly different from Avid’s, but it would most likely work.

what does this mean for the shipping in this fic?
with Avid completely erased from this fic, even if i do end up adding Réy, the main ship will now be v!Legs/v!Louis/v!Owen/v!Scott.
in addition to not wanting to have any more relation to Avid, i feel like it would be disrespectful on so many levels to cc!Legs, cc!Luanne, cc!Owen, and cc!Scott to continue to ship their characters with v!Avid.
in summary, v!avid will be removed from this fic
all existing chapters of vwnhy! will be removed from ao3 on the eighth of june at 17:00 UTC, and the fic will be archive locked at that same time.
i will be removing all chapters while doing the edits, but i am not going to abandon this fic. it is the longest piece i have ever written (currently at 88k words) and i am incredibly proud of it. in the end, while this is fanfiction, it is my story and i have no intention of abandoning it. i have spent the past five months of my life working on it, and it has helped me grow so much as a writer. it is a story i love, and cc!Avid’s actions will not cause its destruction.
thank you for reading. i promise i will rerelease all chapters as soon as possible (and i do recommend rereading all of them when rereleased because i do not know how drastically events might change.)

i want to put my thoughts behind this: this was supposed to be a piece for pride month, titled "you were loved". the sky is the color of the aroace flag (just upside down)!
basically, i wanted to show an aroace person — an old aroace person, to be precise. being aroace myself, i am always told that i will forever be lonely and miserable if i don't get a partner. so showing grace, who is aroace to me, as old and happy and fulfilled and oh so loved by his best friend, was really important to me <3

i need to character dump a little cause i’m afraid i break character too much and ive been roleplaying a little too silly and just want to establish some things.
for one, humor is an absolute coping mechanism. my girl can hardly be serious for a second, unless she’s mad at someone. and when she’s mad about something, she’s very stubborn about her position. and a bit narrow minded.
i talk a lot about not respecting authority or the law, or pushing the idea the law isn’t always what’s morally correct. however, whenever confronted with authority, tf!shubble folds. maybe she’ll be bold to crack a joke, but ultimately, i abide by the rules at least in front of them. i’m not willing to defy them so directly.
and i talk especially of my distrust of the professor, the most main authority figure we have. but am very much avoiding any interaction with him at all costs, hoping to go entirely unnoticed. kind of all bark, and no bite.
she recognizes the level of privilege she’s surrounded by and it’s becoming infuriating. she’s someone who always had so little but never needed more because she had her family, and now they’re gone. and she’s not really talking about it. funny that all of her powers seem to aid in dodging and avoiding.
anyway those are my thoughts about my character so far. i’ve been having a lot of fun fooling around and this smp is such a joy to participate in, in and out of roleplay. i needed to gather my thoughts as i edit my youtube episodes to focus more on the story being told in between all the goofs!
