Welcome, all, to the Encyclopedia of This-Is-Oppression.
Blog Owner
Plain text: small title font that reads, "Blog Owner". End PT
My name is Veradia, my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am cis, demisexual/panromantic in an 3-year and going NBLW relationship. I am autistic, ADHD, and a migraineur, so reblogging will be whenever I open tumblr, can stare at blue light and scroll. I am the only compiler for this blog and my others right now. I would love to learn how to collaborate for any of these like some pages do eventually, if anyone should become interested in the future. Bear with me, Iām an explainer and I donāt know how to shorten my thoughts, so I typically make pretty long posts. Reblogs wonāt be like this for the most part, I promise.
What is the Encyclopedia of This-Is-Oppression?
Plain text: small title font that reads, "What is the Encyclopedia of This Is Oppression?". End PT
The list of this-is-x accounts I've followed using my main blog is ever-growing as they are created. I started this blog to provide a designated space to reblog their posts and add to the preservation accounts in the face of termination. I will also try to aide in defining terminology associated with each community when applicable or unexplained, for my own learning and for readers. It would be in no particular order, unless I need to scroll through blogs to get them to show up more on my home page and I might spam a few in a row here to help. Another goal I would like for this blog, along on my own journey in this, is to help others understand both the parallels and important differences and intricacies in how each of us experience oppression, so we can remember who lateral oppression is ultimately controlled by. Hint: Itās society and the authorities that control it, first, then liquidated over time into our psyches. Always.
Along with the EoTIO, I am starting two "this-is" blogs: this-is-anti-union and this-is-anti-paganism. Anti-Union is up and Anti-Paganism is a work in progress. Links to both are in the glossary. I am also working on pfps and a header images for all 3 of these at the moment. For now, on EoTIO, Iām using a basic, all-inclusive symbol.
I may or may not add to the conversation if it is something I have experienced or observed, and simply tag and reblog if not. However, if I do say anything insensitive or if I get something wrong, please call me out. I am always willing to unlearn subconscious biases and be corrected if I misunderstood anything. It really helps me when learning anything to be explained why so I can catch myself and/or others in the future. Itāll also help as I try not to copy any definitions verbatim without quoting or if the blog doesnāt have a clear one. To anybody using screen readers, please let me know if anything doesnāt work and how I can fix it or write out pronunciations for unrecognized words if possible. I read that tumblr format is buggy for them.
The EoTIO is not a blog where I would be answering any asks on as I don't have a specific topic. Not quite sure how post submissions work, but if you have made a this-is-x account that I haven't followed yet, and youād like me to start reblogging your A&As, go ahead and comment on this post!
Please note that I only knowingly follow all-inclusive accounts, in general, but āthis-isā accounts that focus on giving space to talk about experiences in their topic, who do not condone or participate in lateral oppression/violence or inter-minority hate. If I see bigotry of any kind, I will straight up block you.

Please go support these blogs! If you found EoTIO first somehow, I donāt want to be anybodyās main source of info! I learn so much from them everyday. I will try to keep up with adding them here as I follow.
