i think that if someone i had a crush on could chase me around the woods but i was always too fast for them and lowkey started out terrified but after many weeks of them trying to catch me i start to see it as a game and slow down just enough to let them almost catch me before speeding up again and leaving them in the dust, and it becomes this sort of unspoken bonding ritual where despite never speaking we grow closer until we know each other like nobody else and when i get tired of running we silently pause the game and i take a nap with my head in their lap and when i wake up they’re gone like they were never there and i miss them. well. well i think it’d fix me in every way

Ok so lets put this character idea to page.
Pipsqueak - Pip as their friends came to call them - is a short human gap-touched. They're like 155cm, 160 at most. Pale greenish hair, if we're going with an anime aesthetic, probably just black if not. Said hair is braided in a single braid of nonsensical length, twisting dynamically behind them in action shots.
They're afflicted by this strange supernatural ailment where they're slowly being forgotten by everyone they interact with as fate itself dissolves behind them. Or at least that is the way they would explain it to you - not that you'd remember it by tomorrow.
Pip is loud and rowdy making trouble and letting everyone know it. Not in an asshole way, we are looking at heroes after all, but certainly in a manner that disrupts the status quo as much as possible, to desperately, desperately leave an impression in the minds of others.
Dumb stupid shounen personality.
To deal with this affliction - and to deal with any trouble coming their way - they utilize a mechanical suit. A mix between exoskeleton, medical stasis chamber, mecha, and armour. In the suit, dearest little tiny pipsqueak stands 210cm tall.
The suit is mobile, heavy, and fast. All about momentum. It switches between attuning, gathering, and discharging opposing fundamental forces. Vitality and Void. Light and Dark. The power of stars living and collapsed.
