The way that people are having zero sympathy for people in Europe literally dying because if this heatwave
This is xenophobia.
I'm also leaving this here. For everyone in general. Please listen to your body in this heat, and please pay attention to the people around you if you can.
Also people are ignoring India. 🇮🇳
Okay, I will try to transcribe. OP, if this meets your standards, please add it to the original post so more people can understand it.
The image asks, Heat Exhaustion or Heat Stroke? It lists the symptoms of each with arrows pointing to spots on the cartoon body that are affected. It also tells you what to do.
Heat Exhaustion Signs: faint or dizzy, excessive sweating, cool, pale, clammy skin, nausea or vomiting, rapid, weak pulse, muscle cramps.
What to do: get to a cooler, air conditioned place. Drink water if fully conscious. Take a cool shower or cold compresses.
Heat Stroke Signs: throbbing headache, no sweating, body temperature above 103 F (39.44 C), red, hot, dry skin, nausea or vomiting, rapid, strong pulse, may lose consciousness.
What to do: call 911 immediately. Take immediate action to cool the person until help arrives.
The bottom bar is too small for me to read, but it looks like links and logos from the people who made the image.
Tip from me: never place ice directly on skin or inside of the person. You don't want to give them ice burns. You can put it on a towel and on the person. But honestly, normal water on their body is going to be safer. You can soak their clothes or add wet towels to them. Re soak the towels when they start to warm up.
If they are fully awake, you can give them water. If they are not, they might choke.
Don't drag an unconscious person into the slippery shower. Don't pour water on the head of an unconscious person. Add a wet towel to their forehead- and don't block the nose or mouth.
If the emergency services tell you differently, listen to them. They are the experts.
Thank you for the transcription, I'll be adding all of this information to the post as well.

Do people not realize an activist is literally just someone who takes action for or against a political movement? It’s a morally neutral title. To be an activist is just to perform particular actions for something. There is nothing stating that it has to be some “good cause.”
The people from the “Save Our Children” campaign in Florida in the seventies were activists. They were deeply homophobic and wanted to remove a human rights ordinance that prohibited discrimination based on sexual orientation. But they protested, ran media campaigns, and lobbied to try and have the ordinance removed. All of those actions made them activists.
No further comment but I got permission to post this and I think it's a good wrap up argument.
Just saw a blog on here who’s either satire or just a horrible person, and I can’t tell.
Not tagging the blog itself, but they are against all white people. Europeans, Canadians, etc.
they do this too the point of:
-calling Canadians “Kkkanadians” (I’m Canadian myself so this hurt more) because… the land was colonized by both the French and British and is a part of the commonwealth and therefore as bad as colonizers…
-saying it’s directly the European’s fault that climate change exists, when (correct me if I’m wrong please!) the USA and China do more damage than the UK
-more recently, they called British people “weak” for being affected by the heatwave.
This is xenophobia.

Shit sorry. Ignore my rant about activism.
I misread the tone of the post I think??
Could I still post it? What you said is correct, and I don't think the tone is too far off. It's a little off topic, but I would still like to put it up here if that's alright.
americansarentpeople believes kids deserve to die for being born on an arbitrary plot of land. that's the very definition of xenophobia. sorry you're so fucking fixated on them being a fake activist you're blinded to it
I said they're xenophobic.
What is linguicism?
[plain text: what is linguicism?]
Inspired by other this-is-blogs such as @thisisexorsexism, @this-is-xenophobia, @this-is-saneism, and the original this is linguicism blog, which unfortunately is gone, i am not the mod of the first this is linguicism blog.
Linguicism is the discrimination, marginalisation, or maltreatment of a person based off of the language they speak. Some examples include the suppression of native languages in the Americas and the suppression of Welsh and Irish in the British Isles.
This blog is run by me, AV. I use they/them, E/em, and thon/thon pronouns. My main blog is: @Audiovisthewritingwhiz
not a report of xenophobia, do you know what happened to this-is-linguicism?
I do not... if anyone knows, please comment and I will edit this post with updated information.
your post on americansarentpeople seems to just be 'it's xenophobic but uhhh also not'
That's because we do not know them in real life. Which doesn't mean them being xenophobic online is any worse or better because for most of us that is the only way we know them and it can harm people. The reason that post is so long is because I wanted to explain why there is nuance in the real world, because as anyone should know, people lie about themselves and their views on the internet and are more inclined to be more aggressive, etc.
This is probably the last thing I will be answering on this. Thank you.

"holodomor was intentional" blogger talking about how a guy who calls people zios and retards and unironically calls all Jews pedophiles is actually awesome because uhh we dont know them IRL pack it up neo-nazi
I never said they were awesome. I said their online persona was a xenophobe, and them IRL is up to nuance and how we don't know who they honestly are.
I wasn't aware they called all Jews pedophiles if that is true, as at the time I didn't have time to go through one person's entire blog. If anyone can show me the post I will correct things, but again.
Their arguments are through generalization as I said, which I disagree with.
I never said they are "awesome". I don't like the way they argue. I don't like how they label people just for the sake of arguing, that can be seen as childish, and I think it can be, and the way they do it definitely feels childish.
I am not a neo-nazi.
And the topic of the Holodomor being intentional is a political argument. Whether it was man-made and xenophobia in nature isn't really much of one. Most historians and the government of Ukraine consider it to be an intentional genocide. But again, the Soviet Union was a mess with how they rapidly tried to promote change in the industrial and agricultural world, which led to massive consequences which the Holodomor could also be.
Political opinions are the last thing I wanted to bring to this blog, but I hage and I apologize to my casual readers who are stuck reading this because I would rather address these asks then ignore them and let assumptions be made.
being anti xenophobia is inherently political. you have to take a stand in shit - you cannot be neutral
I should've specified my political opinions on things besides xenophobia shouldn't be brought on this blog. I am sorry. I am aware anti xenophobic is a political stance, and I often forget because not everything I post relates to politics.
As for your tag, I would rather not start being accused in a "you like pancakes so you must hate waffles" fashion in relating to genocide. If you're specifically talking about the Holodomor and my views, whether it was intentional or not, and whether it was a genocide or not is not for me to say yes or no to, but I don't like that it happened either way. And I don't condone or like genocide no matter what.
Sending this here because you posted about it-
@ari-anachronism is just gone. The person that ran the @thisisantisemitism and @comprehensive-sex-ed accounts is just gone. I think Tumblr banned their account.
I’m sending this here because maybe someone knows them that might see this and knows what might’ve happened. This is just messed up.
Odd. Thank you for sending this.

americansarentpeople isn't an activist, they're a sadistic asshole who has blatantly admitted to getting entertainment out of this crap on the way to work. they're a miserable fool making others miserable to feel better about their pathetic little life. can't believe you defended them.
TL;DR (I'm not a big fan of how I wrote this): Feel free to always disagree with things I say on this blog. I don't mind at all. I use the label activist or advocate for americansarentpeople because even a violent advocate is a advocate, whether you agree with the way they argue or what they argue about, etc. I don't personally agree with it, but it doesn't change things.
I didn't intend to defend them at all? I still stated their online persona is xenophobic, and I do not like how they go about their politics.
Diagnosing people as sadistic for being entertained by argument also is not something you shouls be doing.
What you're stating here is your opinion on a person based on politics and words on the internet. Which has nuance.
I label them as an activist because even a "sadistic asshole who has blatantly admitted to getting entertainment out of this crap on the way to work" can be an advocate. Their arguments are, at least from what I've seen, are against TERF's, against White Privilege, and are against the American Government.
Yes, the way they go about it, as I said, is through generalizations and hostility, but it's politics. They can enjoy having arguments against people they see as wrong like any other person on the face of the Earth.
I never said I endorse the way they speak. Though also, from the posts I saw, they never directly attack people unless provoked. Correct me if that's wrong of course, but all I read was them arguing. Even in the case where there was insults and labels thrown around that may not actually belong to the person, they're arguing.
You can agree or disagree with my opinion the same way their blog is just people agreeing and disagreeing with things in just a verbally violent way. It's the way opinions work.
not an experience but the link on your post about 'americansarentpeople' doesnt work

the blog on this website called 'americansarentpeople'
TL;DR: at face value, americansarentpeople is xenophobic. However, we do not know americansarentpeople and how they act in day to day life. They're a political activist, and there's good and bad parts to the way they advocate. It's a matter of opinion. Their online persona is xenophobic, but we don't know anything about their real person.
This post uses they/them for americansarentpeople as I couldn't find their pronouns anywhere on their page. If there is a post that says otherwise, I will edit this post.
While they are an activist, generalization of all Americans can negatively effect some people they are trying to advocate for. Key word is some. They make valid points, but again. Generalization is harmful no matter the message.
Even if their blog is protected under parody in their words, activism that relies on broad generalizations is often counterproductive, simplifies complex issues, obscure the point or obscure what the legitimate steps towards change could be, and more.
At face value, yes. americansarentpeople is xenophobic. There isn't much nuance on that.
Then again, it is the internet. And americansarentpeople is an activist. They're harsh and general with their words because their opinion and others that will lead to change, even if in my opinion and many professionals opinions it can be counterproductive. (I'm sourcing this from 10 ways activism makes things worse | by Andy Hix)
americansarentpeople maybe be American themselves, and could know "good" Americans in their real life, and that wouldn't show up in their activism because of course it wouldn't. With politics, being honest about your personal life can lead to an argument like the final example:
"Americans are bad, and they need to fight more for change."
"Uh, well, you said you're friends with so-and-so, who IS American, so actually you don't think any American is bad cause you put up with one after saying all are bad"
Which is childish, but is what could happen.
Their activism isn't something I favor due to the generalization, that's a matter of opinion. We don't know them personally, we just know them through their politics, which honestly isn't a foolproof way to judge them. And I don't doubt that they know its not all Americans, but again. It's a form of activism we see often where generalization for the sake of arguments is used for a plethora of reasons. It can be used as a form of "clarity" in argument to show more confidence instead of what could be seen as a lesser argument to some by bringing up that "yes, it's not all Americans but it's some" can give it's own week points in argument.
I can rephrase things in this post if needed for anyone if the TL;DR isn't making much sense, or any of what I've said confuses you.
I might be overreacting but the ignorance about the Holodomor. It might be because it happened right before the Holocaust or that it (in theory) didn't affect as many people. I don't know. People are still reeling from the Holocaust, yes, but I also still have family in fucking Siberia of all places.
The ignorance could be xenophobia, but ignorance, though terrible, doesn't mean a person has xenophobic intent as they simply just could have never been taught about things (EX. I was not taught about the Holodomor in school, nor any of my peers, which doesn't automatically make us xenophobic, though it could mean that someone who chose for us not to learn about it could be xenophobic for restricting information.)
Extra: The Holodomor was xenophobic. That's undeniable.
