This is one of my favourite pieces of offical(?) art. Everyone looks so ethereal, so peaceful.
The clothing billows, and Grelle, Lizzy and UTās hair flows so beautifully. The slight air bubbles to suggest they are underwater, along with the ocean lighting pattern on the trouser legs and cloak train nearest to the surface. The way that Sebastian is almost dragging Ciel down, who in turn is bringing with him the rest of the cast. The way that only Sebastian and the Undertaker have their eyes open, and even then only Undertakerās eyes are focussed - Sebastian seems tired, as though he is succumbing to the depths, while UT is looking at the audience, his slight smile suggesting that he knows something we donāt, and that he is exactly where he needs (and wants) to be. Undertakerās hair reaching past the border of the artwork into the unknown being symbolic of his place within the narrativeā¦

Iām not saying that disliking Supergirl (2026) means being misogynistic. Adore every little slithery-outing decision that was made in regards to the Valeskas. Not to mention Eccoās whole deal. Itās kind of a miracle the show even managed to get as far as season 5 without being taken to court. Anyway, Jeremiahās season 5 look (and hell, even his season 4 look) are probably some of my favourite Joker designs ever.
I don't know if I will ever feel comfortable coming out as aroace, despite being comfortably aroace. The other day someone asked me if I was queer and I felt so uncomfortable saying yes, because even if it is true, I knew it was still painting the wrong picture in this persons mind. And throughout the rest of the evening it was obvious they thought I was bi but I couldn't correct them because it's not an easy "oh I'm not X I'm Y", it's a whole new conversation: opening yourself up to uncomfortable and invasive questions, opening yourself up to the other persons astonishment and bafflement which just makes you feel more othered, opening yourself up to being hurt by casual assumptions and dismissive comments or just plain awkward silence. and usually it ends with the feeling that you didn't do enough to paint the right picture, to explain everything in a way that leaves no false impressions, that you didn't find the right words to make them truly understand you. despite such understanding taking years and years of work. It's so frustrating!

Iām so tired of the āwhy do people hate aspecs, they arenāt doing anything?ā argument. I know that it is an attempt to support us, but it fails so spectacularly to understand aromanticism, asexuality, and any other aspec identity that itās actively frustrating.
We are doing something. Weāre rejecting allonormative ideals and thatās a massive thing to do. Weāre actively fighting not just to help other aspecs, but to help everyone, because amatonormativity (and allonormativity as a whole) hurt everyone. Single people who want to find a partner but canāt also deserve to be able to exist.
There are so many issues with the expectation of marriage, including:
A single income isn't enough to get by anymore
Having a spouse is almost necessary under the current medical system
Society shames and pressures people who are single to get into relationships constantly
Rejecting allonormativity means fighting against these things that hurt everyone.
So, no, aces and aros and other aspecs aren't "doing nothing." We're doing quite a lot.
