So. Good luck buying them even if you find them. They're some of the most valuable collector's items in the entire franchise.

sort your fanworks by kudos and share your ~5 LEAST kudosed works, including anything that's unfinished, very short, etc. maybe also say how you feel about it and why you think it's on the bottom of the list (you can narrow it down by medium or language if that makes more sense for you!)

With one exception that did not make this list, all my fics exist within the same ongoing series and center around the same set of characters so they're pretty easy to compare against one another. I'm also not counting the appendix to this series because it's not actually a fic...although in the spite of that it ties or outdoes two of these on kudos. Go figure.

"Is Not the Semblance Enough?" - 4 kudos

My most recently-published fic, although not my most recently-written as I did this one back around January for a zine released in July. How new it is on AO3 probably a factor, but this is also one of several where I use the Other tag as opposed to M/M to reflect Partitio's emerging bigender/genderfluid identity (that the characters never describe in anything remotely like those terms, because this is the pseudo-19th century). I imagine that may put some people off who just want some straightforward gay romance. Still I tried to write it as a concise introduction to the themes and concepts I explore in my writing, in case anyone discovered me through the zine.

2. "Scent of Commerce: New Delsta" - 8 kudos

I kind of get it because it's a raunchy sex toy romp that takes a hard turn halfway through into confronting Osvald's chauvinism and nodding to historical feminist movements via a pair of OCs who exist only in this fic. That's a lot to swallow in a single oneshot. I wouldn't be surprised if many readers checked out after Partitio got done having fun with that vibrator.

3. "Troubling Me in This Likeness: Alternate Ending" - 9 kudos

Fully understandable since this is a smutty E-rated alternate ending to a M-rated multi-chapter story with very little sex in it. Troubling Me in This Likeness has the fourth-highest number of kudos of my works, so it's popular on its own. But this one goes in a very different direction, one that involves selfcest, daddy kink, and pseudo-incestuous roleplay so if you're just here to see your OTP get split across two universes and angst their way to coming back together you might not care as much about a pair of Partitios being very good boys for daddy.

4. "A Leaflands Idyll," An Idyll Lost and Found, and Half Is Enough - 12 kudos each

Threeway tie here, and it's interesting that the first two are together because Lost and Found is sort of a sequel. "A Leaflands Idyll" is the only fic in this series where Osvald/Partitio is not tagged, so it's just a Papp/Roque flashback oneshot and since they're such an extreme rarepair I'm not surprised this one never got a lot of traction. The partial sequel is them again and some family fluff with sort-of granddaughter Elena, so it's present day and more canon-based stuff to dig into but still a side piece if you're mainly here for Osvitio. Half is Enough is the outlier; I wrote it only two months ago so again it might be a recency issue, but also again it's tagged as Other and that combined with only the M rating so they're not even getting kinky with it may render it less interesting.

which makes sense, gray whales are slow enough to get caught in the first place and hardy enough to not immediately stress themselves to death over being poked and put in a tank (as long as hundreds of pounds of delicious shellfish are on offer, anyway)

none of them were ever kept very long, they were rehabilitated to a healthy weight and then released. (healthy weight for a juvenile gray whale is almost 20,000 lbs. BIG baby)

ao3 doesn't have an app because for it to have an app, appstore will have to approve it first. and if, hypothetically, ao3 needs appstore to approve it, it will also have to abide by appstore's pro-censorship stance and start banning dark and taboo fics, which is against its own core principle of being completely against censorship.

ao3 doesn't need an app. it works more than fine without an app. the reason ao3 can allow dark and taboo fics, the reason it can allow the most disgusting and shockingly vile fics, and be completely against censorship is because it doesn't need appstore's approval. it stands on its own as a non-profit organization with functioning site and a team of lawyers protecting its platform, its users, and every single fanwork on its platform.
