I've never understood why companies do this. Yes, I see the people arguing about "left" this and "right" that but I think it'd be incredibly sad if they actually do this for some corporate initiative.

If anything, it feels more sexist to hire someone to use as a model just to do your best to make it uglier than the model.

Why bother hiring? if you want "normal" just grab someone off the staff to face scan. A model or actress are better looking than average by default, their jobs are based on that superficiality.

Not that I've seen a "huge backlash" myself in this regard but I do see a pattern. They did the same to the character in that Star Wars Outlaw game that no one bought.

And before someone tries to call me something "ist" the like do keep in mind I dont feel one way or the other about this specific game yet.

I love GoW 4 and I liked Ragnarok but I am waiting to see what else drops. I liked playing Kratos in Ragnarok but the Atreus segments honestly keep me from replaying it.

I'm not sold on them just yet for non-Kratos characters and I need to see a bit more gameplay to judge.
