I think Husk admires Angel for not letting anything take him down, not letting himself loose, not being just as passive as Husk (especially S1 Husk) is towards his life situation.
Valentino is trying to control every aspect of Angel's life, and Angel fights. Even before Charlie and Husk, Angel fought to stay at the Hotel (and considering Val's reaction when he found that out? moving out wasn't easy). He also kept his friendship with Cherri in spite of Val (and we all know how toxic relationships (aaaand a little bit of soul owning) make seeing your friends harder. Angel can stand up to Val (e. g. when Charlie showed up at the studio). He constantly tries to be the best and sexiest version of himself, even if everything around is difficult. He signed up to work at the Magic Kat, because he wanted to do drag, so he made sure he could do fucking drag. He went clean from drugs, which is an achievment in itself.
Angel, despite his situation, which is the worst of the worst, is still trying, and Husk loves that.
Because Husk? Since he lost his soul, he's a loser, and he's not doing anything about it. (Especially S1 Husk.) He's at the hotel because of Alastor, he doesn't care about anything, he drinks. The first thing he does when he's free is going to the casino to gamble and drink, where he sees Angel literally trying to achieve his dreams. No wonder he blushed this much.
Ironically, the thing Husk admires is what sometimes causes Angel to exhaust himself. He has to be perfect all the time, the best, the sexiest, the happiest, the prettiest, he's trying to achieve one dream and another, he's trying to be a better person, he's trying and trying, he pushes himself to the point of exhaustion, he doesn't know when to stop. He thinks that if he stops and sits down for even a second, he might never get up again. And after all, it's easy to not think about your shitty afterlife when you constantly have goals and deadlines to meet, right?
I think Angel could teach Husk how to motivate himself, while Husk could teach Angel how to rest

Stop trying to pursue every financial goal at once! Here it is: the right order to save, invest, and pay down debt, at any stage of life.
The Financial Order of Operations: 10 Great Money Choices for Every Stage of Life
One of the reasons personal finance can feel so overwhelming—nay, defeating—is that there’s so much pressure to do everything at once. I think it’s why so many people feel lost and incompetent with money. I did too, until I discovered a financial order of operations.
Money decisions are always intimidating. Every financial decision you make compounds over time! That can be good, like when investments grow. But it’s also terrible, because financial mistakes can haunt you for years after you’ve made them. With so much pressure to get it right, every single time, and always on the first try, it’s no wonder people freeze up.
I wish someone had sat me down and compassionately explained that I didn’t have to do everything all at once. If you want to stay motivated and make meaningful progress on a goal, it’s so much better to focus on just one at a time. And just like in eighth grade math, there’s a right order of operations to everything, depending on what stage of life you’re in.
Today I’m going to take you through my financial order of operations. It’s a basic blueprint of ten steps most people could follow to transform their finances for the better.

I feel like everyone is talking about all the best ways to improve yourself and make your vision boards, but it is all so fucking overwhelming. You aren't going to get anything done, and that's okay because it's normal to get overwhelmed with how much information there is.
To make things a little easier for you all I've made a little step-by-step guide that is soo easy! All you need for this is somewhere to write stuff down, pinterest, whatever planner you use and some free time.
This is the most important question you need to ask yourself. Who are you trying become? Why are you even doing all this? It's okay if you don't know at first, that's where a lot of self-reflection has to happen. Take your time and really think about all the attributes this person has. Here is a little questionnaire that can get you started!
What kinds of clothes does this person wear?
What is their self-care routine?
What are this person's boundaries?
What kind of food do they eat and what is their relationship with food?
What is their financial situation?
What do they think about themselves?
What do other people think about them?
What are their friendships like?
What are their habits?
Feel free to add your own! If you can't think of any more I definitely recommend pinterest for this one!
Once you know who you want to be, it's time to create some goals. Choose 4 of the attributes you came up with and turn them into SMART goals! SMART goals are an incredible way to think about your goals in a way that actually prepares you to achieve them.
S- Specific: be as absolutely specific about your goal as you can be. Broadness only hurts you in the long run.
M- Measurable: How are you measuring this goal?
A- Acheivable: goals aren't supposed to be easy, but they are supposed to be something you can get to eventually.
R- Relevent: why are you working towards this goal?
T- Time: what is your timeframe for hitting this goal?
Now that you know the habits of the person you want to become, it's time to integrate those habits into your life. This is the time to create a morning and night routine for yourself or plan what day is your no-work day. Here is an example to help you out!
I wake up at 5:45AM every weekday.
As soon as I am up, I go shower and then make myself breakfast
I'm usually done with these things around 6:45AM.
Then I have an hour and 15 minutes to stretch, prepare for my day, drink a lot of water, pray, read, what ever I want really.
Once the clock hits 8, I start slowly getting ready, putting care and intention into everything I do so that I can leave feeling amazing at 8:50.
See how my timeframe for my morning routine is super loose and flexible? Nothing is fixed or on a tight schedule. I'm giving my body enough time to fully wake up and myself to get ready stress free. I think that's something that people struggle with a lot when it comes to routines. You have to give yourself some wiggle room and adapt to your needs.
Now it's time to act! Do your morning routines, follow your study schedule! Do it! Something I find that helps me is printing out a bunch of motivation quotes from interest and putting them around my room.
I hope you found this helpful! Write any tips you might have in the comments!
Please. In desperate need of external motivation to finish my Section 31 Bashir trilogy. Aiming for 24 hours. All motivation accepted. Threats are acceptable currency.
Does the slight drop in the numbers make me feel better.
Also yes.
I was thinking about trying to set a few realistic goals for the month of April. I know that the best case scenario is losing 1kg per week, but no matter how hard I work, it never happens, so I usually try to aim for 3kgs per month instead of 4. And even as pictured above, I've lost 3kgs during a month and a half.
But since I finished the acting seminar that required most of my attention last week, I can now focus on my workouts and meal prep a bit more, I feel optimistic about setting a goal of -3kgs for April, and hopefully the drop from the 70s will fuel me to keep on going strong! 💪

S - specific.
don't just set vague goals like "i wanna get fit" or "i wanna get abs". how are you gonna know when/ where to start? if you want to get fit: your goal could be "go to the gym for 30 mins everyday" or "i want to run 5k in under 30 mins". whatever works for you.
some other examples:
-> if your big goal is to get high marks on your next test: your "mini" goals/ steps should be to study everyday for at least 30-60mins.
-> if your big goal is to get money/ become rich: your steps/ mini goals should be to save $___ daily first. and also figure out a way you can make a mini business/ get a job.
M - measurable.
make sure that your goals are measurable- meaning that you should be able to track them.
some examples:
-> if your goal is to read more: then create or find a habit tracker or something so everyday when you read, you can mark it down for that day. ! recommended resource: James Clear's habit tracker journal- you can find it on amazon.
A - Achievable
keep your goals realistic and attainable. if you know you dont have the time/ energy to read a whole book in 1 week, dont do it- otherwise you'll get easily discouraged.
the goldilocks principle: don't make it too easy, where it doesn't give you a challenge, but don't make it too hard either, otherwise you'll get easily discouraged.
R - Relevant
basically a WHY. why do you want/ need to accomplish this goal? have a motivation which drives you. make sure your goal is relevant to you in some sort of way.
example:
-> if you want to learn a language such as spanish, why do you wanna learn it? because you want to travel to Spain one day? to be able to communicate with someone? even if the purpose is as simple as "wanting to be bilingual cus it makes me feel cool and impressive" - if that motivates you, then go ahead!
T - time bound
your goals need to have some sort of deadline or urgency attached to it- otherwise you could take all the time you want to start and procrastinate as much as you want. having a deadline for the goal will motivate you to take action sooner, than later.
how to use SMART goals effectively:
decide on the goal. (something that you actually need/ want to accomplish.)
break it down into smaller steps. (very small. so small that you can start working on whatever it is NOW.)
you want to get high marks on your test? lets break it down. study 30 mins everyday -> walk to desk -> get material out -> identify what you need to study -> find your weaker topics & write it out -> create a planner or smth -> start studying. // need help? find videos online, go thru material again, find study tips, etc.
write them down. (helps you stay accountable. also people who write their goals down are 42% more likely to achieve them than people who don't write it down.)
create an action plan. (relates to the 2nd point. outline the necessary steps to take, identify resources, set milestones, plan for potential obstacles.)
monitor and evaluate progress. (regularly review your goals, mistakes, and progress. what could you do better to be more efficient and quicker? how can you learn from your mistakes?)
stay committed and flexible. (you really need to be committed to achieve the goals, you shouldn't just start off super excited, doing great in the first week then slacking off. you've made a commitment to YOURSELF. respect yourself enough to stick to it!
but also be flexible with your goals. if you're reeeallyy not able to do it one day, plan to do a bit more the next day. stay focussed and don't get discouraged by setbacks.)
celebrate achievements. (recognise when you've hit a major milestone, and celebrate it! this helps you maintain motivation and a sense of accomplishment. and reward yourself!!)
random additional tips:
visualisation. (such a strong form of manifestation. everyday visualise yourself with your goals, feeling all the emotions and thoughts that come with it! visualisation can also really boost your motivation and drive to achieve it.)
PRIORITIES. (remember that also, all goals aren't equally important. prioritise the ones that really matter. this doesn't mean that you can't focus on the other goals, just make sure the ones that need more attention, get more attention.)
positive language. (use kind and encouraging words towards yourself. know and understand that you are that girl who can achieve ANYTHING she sets her mind to.)
seek support. (ask friends and family or a mentor for help. if you want, be careful tho, share your goals with them to help you stay accountable. and if you know a person who's achieved your goals, GET ADVICE FROM THEM! where better to get advice from than someone who's been through what you're going through?)
stay organised. (self explanatory. just stay organised. messy space = messy mind. clean space = clean mind.)
maintain balance. (of course your goals are important, but so is the age you're currently at. especially if you're a teenage, DONT WASTE THESE YEARS!! get out of the house! make friends! go to parties! LIVE LIFE TO ITS FULLEST. also make sure that you get the adequate rest needed!)
write about your journey. (write about the struggles, the obstacles, how you overcame them, insights you got on this journey, etc. trust me, it'll be so interesting and helpful to read when you're older.)
