Pavlogenic (adjective — system origin)

Refers to a system that was influenced by others (usually deliberately) into becoming plural, for whatever reason. It is a created origin that may or may not involve trauma.

Someone may consider themselves pavlogenic due to being rewarded for behaviours originating from plurality or certain system members and/or being punished for ones that don't. This can also relate to programming, but "pavlogenic" and "programmed" are not interchangeable.

The word is named after Ivan Pavlov, the inventor of classical conditioning (where an involuntary action happens in response to the stimulus associated with it.)

I want more “programmed”-like alters so badly bro

The only “programmed” alter I got rn is Yaori (trans-alpha-programmed)

Me and my p-sys/partner have been trying to help with my transprogrammed transition (or something close to that)

But we haven’t gotten ANYWHERE yet because we don’t know where to start,,

I’m mostly just waiting until someone randomly gives me a BAH pack or something with a “programmed” alter (but STRICTLY only sourced from my fandoms or anything similar to it btw) because that feels WAY more euphoric than just requesting

Can anyone do an alter that is like a programmed alter?

Our host REALLY wants to do a transprogramming transition but he doesn’t know any BAH blogs that will do a request like that

" Possibly a more niche headcanon but I think Chuuya is in a programmed system. He isn’t aware of his system and has no communication with his alters, who can mostly mask as him so he doesn't have many 'obvious' symptoms to pick up on besides memory loss and PTSD.

My main 'theory' is that corruption is something the scientists tortured him into being able to do and that it's another alter who uses corruption (hence why Chuuya has no memory or control over his ability in that state).

I think those close to him (Dazai and certian members of the flags) have picked up on his system but Chuuya shuts down any talk about it almost instantly and wont listen to others about this topic.

(As a disclaimer I know this doesn't correlate with canon a lot. As another disclaimer I'm a member of a system who possibly has programmed parts and this hc brings me comfort) "
