Osamu Dazai x Male Reader

I think Dazai wants to be loved really fucking bad. Yet, whenever you offer it he can’t help but recoil, hide, and repress. It’s just his cycle.

There isn’t a moment in his sorry life that Osamu Dazai wasn’t punished by love, and to him that will never have a chance of changing. But if you think that means he’s not going to indulge you’re sorely mistaken.

Osamu Dazai is just like any other man no matter how inhuman he intrinsically feels so deeply in his bones. He will indulge in his desires and tell himself it was his plan all along. That it means nothing when it’s you causing his back to arch, his lungs to lose air, and his eyes to fog and threaten tears. It was then that he knew you were a threat.

So he’ll run from you as best as he can. Miss work on Monday, take an early morning mission on Tuesday, then hope his jump into the water on Wednesday takes him. Of course it won’t, though. The gods had never been that kind to him.
