Hence why I love incorporating these little superfoods into my lifestyle apart from being tasty they pack a punch of much needed antioxidants. ——————————————————— A 1-cup (148-gram) serving of blueberries contains: * Fiber: 4 grams * Vitamin C: 24% of the RDI * Vitamin K: 36% of the RDI * Manganese: 25% of the RDI * Small amounts of various other nutrients They have about 85% water, looking at an entire cup it contains only 84 calories, with 15 grams of good carbohydrates. ——————————————————— I also decided to marry the blueberries with some coconut flakes within this recipe. The two compliment one another. ——————————————————— Coconut is not only deliciously sweet when flaked, but also adds added iron to the meal, it’s a good source of fibre, as well as Zinc and potassium. ——————————————————— This bread contains no nasties, made from almond, quinoa flour and flaxseed meal. No oil, no sugar.
