#asexual is valid

They spread positivity like no one else. I’ve done it too, where I’ve told everyone in the friend group that I love them, and it made them feel so happy to hear it and not have it mean something else.

I love you. As simple as that.

The way I experience asexuality is like looking at a gallery of all different kinds of art. The feeling of having no sexual attraction, to me, is best described as looking at a beautiful painting of a landscape. You can see the flaws in it, the brush strokes, the colors, the perspective, and the technical ability needed to make such a thing, and you suddenly feel a divine sense of awe. But you dont want to fuck the landscape painting.

Thats how it feels for me to experience no sexual attraction. Because even though I dont have sexual attraction to anyone in particular (male, female, nonbinary, etc) i can still admit when someone is beautiful.

I've identified as asexual for around three years now, and it's been an important part of my identity and the way I see myself, so today feels very significant to me.

Asexuality is such a wide spectrum, and I'm so happy to be a part of a community so diverse and full of different kinds of people, all coming together under this one word.

Being asexual, of course, comes with its own unique challenges, but there's also a beauty in finding a label that you feel comfortable in, and a community you feel happy calling your home. To all who have found that in asexuality, I'm so happy that you're here, and remember to take care of yourself.

We are here, we are queer, and we aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Why this? Because I felt it's hard to come up with something that's Invader Zim related while wanna making sure I cover my grounds for this year's pride month without copying other folks/trying to be original in a sense. And I figured it out with Dwicky once I found audio to work with. It took all afternoon and evening; I just loved how it came out!

I’m asexual so I was worried the parts on what you personally want would doc me points because I write about how sexual attraction in selection isn’t really a factor for me.

This is the most pro ace teacher ever, all the parts I’m like “Sexual attraction isn’t really a part of choosing a partner for me” she’s like “Yeah that’s perfectly valid and your list of traits you do look for is very well thought out!”

We love when a class all about intimacy includes people who don’t want sexual intimacy.
