My mom bought me an Ace Ring!
I asked my mom if I could buy a black ring and she said yes! Technically it's a very dark silver (either that or the lighting is just messing up my eyes), but I'm really happy I got a ring especially on Pride Month!
My mom kind of knows I'm ace? I'll explain it more in a comic I'm planning to make. In short, really happy I have a ring. It's a great way to subtly show my sexuality especially since where I'm currently living, not everyone can openly be themselves yet. I hope one day I will be able to be more open about my asexuality. 💜
PRIDE MATTERS BECAUSE:

I have to remind some people that asexual aromantic people can be in queer relationships, being aroace doesn’t stop someone from dating who they want to date.
As an asexual aromantic person (who also happens to be bisexual bi the way😉) i’ve always found dating to be impossible. Even though I’ve asked out both boys and girls as a kid, I was always ignored and rejected, i was also bullied from time to time for being a nerd and for being “ugly”.
By the time I was 19 i decentered dating entirely since i grew tired of trying to date and got sick of people invalidating my sexuality. I kept hearing the “You’re either gay or straight” argument or people would just flat out misunderstand me & my identity. It was frustrating, still is. Eventually, I’ll put myself out there, but for now I’m concentrating on other things.

Proof that I'm asexual:
I have these two classmates, who I've been friends with for 2 years now, and I only found out a few months ago that they have been dating through a majority of it. I have unintentionally become the 3rd wheel of my friends' relationship.
I should've realized there were signs, but I didn't catch them. They were flirting with each other in our class server which I interpreted as silly banter amongst friends. In my defense, they flirt with everyone in our class, including me (they know I'm ace, so flirting with me is always sweet and not sexual).
I only found out through another friend of mine while we were on our break during our internship. That's also where I found out a lot of my classmates are dating one another. Before this, I only knew that one of my friends was dating someone and that was it.
This either proves that I'm asexual or I have some sort of skill issue when it comes to reading people.
”being asexual seems boring, just say you can’t pull” okay so you’re not allowed to talk to me anymore
People talk about sexually sniffing out someone's hormones or whatever, but like, what about being able to sniff someone's hormones or something, PLATONICALLY? Normally I'd give context, but honestly, I'm not even gonna do that this time.
