Give traditional deviled eggs a wonderful smoky flavor to elevate them. Ideal for parties and putting a distinctive spin on a well-liked appetizer.
Ingredients: 12 large eggs. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Chopped fresh chives for garnish.
Instructions: After giving the eggs a hard boil, let them cool fully. After peeling, cut the eggs in half lengthwise. After removing the yolks, put them in a bowl. Add the apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, salt, and black pepper to the bowl containing the egg yolks. Blend and crush until homogenous. Return the yolk mixture to the egg white halves by spooning or piping it in. Set the temperature of your smoker to 225F 107C. The deviled eggs should be smoked for 30 to 45 minutes, or until a smoky flavor permeates them, after placing them on the smoker rack. After taking the eggs out of the smoker, allow them to cool slightly. Before serving, garnish with finely chopped fresh chives.
