why did people turn against each other over Lily? Was it because there was disagreements about her as well as some people thinking some criticisms are valid and others didn't take that well?
Parts of this have been going on for a while unfortunately. Some people are mad that some critics only cover her media takes and not her crimes and that's been a talking point for over a year now.
If you want my take on that side of things, personally I don't think that's a bad thing, her media takes are how she draws her viewers in to begin with, and some people just aren't equipped to talk about heavier subject matter. But her media tastes are a window into her psyche anyway, so there's value in dissecting them, at least in my opinion.
If you're talking about the more recent stuff, basically people were clogging up the "lily orchard critical" tag with personal beefs that really didn't have much relation to Lily at all, mostly people who were mad at Anthony Gramuglia or Sai Scribbles and used the tag because Ant and Sai are "related" to Lily crit. They were told to stop because they were burying the important stuff in the tag that people were documenting, and a few people had shitfits over being told to keep their petty beefs out of the tag.
So yeah it's extremely stupid and has led to a lot of infighting amongst Lily's detractors.
