Toots is a shy, soft-spoken, creative poodle toon who works closely with humans at the Maroon Cartoons studio, acting as a talent agent to scout out new toons for the scene, along with an assistant to directors and producers. While she can be very skittish and withdrawn, she is also a valuable asset and her artistic input on projects has proven very useful.

When Toots gets close to someone, she sheds her shy outer shell and becomes very talkative and passionate, especially when it comes to discussing her interests and her partners. She gets embarrassed easily when she’s encouraged or complimented, but loves to help others shine and see their full potential as actors or creatives,

Much of Toots’ life revolves around her wife and husband, Jessica and Roger Rabbit. The three are very in love, and work seamlessly together, producing comedic and romantic masterpieces both on and off screen.

Toots initially met the two through her work at Maroon Cartoons, and was first introduced to Roger and Jessica during their early shorts together, where Toots was tasked with helping them explore their dynamic on screen, which involved learning a lot about the couple through very personal methods. She would accompany them on and help plan their dates, and even spend nights with them in their home. Eventually, Toots became a part of their life that was just as inseparable as the relationship they had with each other, and it was obvious that the pair were falling for her. Toots returned the feelings wholeheartedly, but was nervous about messing up what they had if she were to become involved—though Jessica and Roger both assured her that her being part of their life forever was what they wanted. 

The trio got hitched, Toots moved in with them, and are now they rarely seen apart. Toots is closely involved with all of Roger and Jessica’s shorts that are produced, and also visits Jessica at the nightclub whenever she isn’t at the studio.

Roger’s silliness and antics help to bring Toots out of her shell, and make her feel less anxious and self-conscious. He never fails to make her laugh, and she always feels comfortable going to him with her problems because of how empathetic and caring he is. Roger loves to do things for Toots, especially things that help her relax after a long day, gift giving by buying her things like flowers and jewelry, and loves spending quality time with her as well.

Jessica’s beauty and allure were initially points of envy for Toots, but once she became close to Jessica, she came to appreciate them as wonderful parts of her that only added to her radiance and provided more of her to love. Jessica loves to do Toots’ makeup, dress her up, and take her out on fancy dates where she gets to show her off. Jessica can fluster Toots very easily, and her love language being physical touch only adds to that, but Toots is never made uncomfortable by Jessica’s attention and loves how special she makes her feel.
