Last updated 4/28/25 Because I've been receiving a mountain of asks as of late, I've decided to clarify what I want this blog's purpose to be.

This blog exists to analyze and explain Lily Orchard’s observable behavior, tactics, and established patterns, specifically how she draws in viewers, manipulates narratives, and keeps people in her grasp. My goal is to break down these methods in a way that helps people recognize manipulative tactics in action.

With that in mind, here are some important points to keep in mind when submitting asks or requests for writeups:

I focus on what’s concrete and supported by evidence. I only cover topics I can speak on with certainty: things I’ve seen tangible proof of, or clear patterns that are consistent with Lily’s established behavior. If I can’t confidently back up a claim with evidence or repeat behavior, I won’t address it.

I avoid speculation. I won’t comment on things like Lily’s upbringing, her inner circle of friends, or other personal details unless there’s credible, verifiable information that directly ties into her observable behavior. Speculation often leads to misinformation, and that’s not what this blog is about.

Don’t take it personally if your ask gets deleted. If your ask goes unanswered, it’s not a reflection on you. It usually just means I don’t have enough solid information to comment, or the request doesn’t align with this blog’s purpose. My goal isn’t to stir up drama or gossip, it’s to provide clear analysis grounded in established patterns and evidence.

I truly do appreciate that people want to help. I know that those who send in asks or provide information are usually doing so in good faith. I really do value that people want to contribute, share details, and help this blog stay thorough and informative. Even if I don’t use your submission, your effort doesn’t go unnoticed.

This blog is about tactics, not personal attacks. My goal is to break down Lily’s manipulative behaviors, not to attack her personally or spread rumors. The focus here is on identifying harmful strategies and explaining how people get drawn in, so readers can better recognize these tactics in their own lives.

I do not go into detail about Lily’s partners or friends. This blog focuses purely on Lily and her actions. I do not drag in or discuss the personal lives of her partners, friends, or anyone else connected to her. The focus is on Lily's behavior and how she manipulates situations, not on those around her.

I don’t armchair diagnose Lily. Sort of an expansion on Point #2. I'm not a trained psychologist, and speculating about someone's mental health or internal emotional state goes too far beyond the scope of what this blog is about. My focus is on documenting observable behavior and established patterns, not diagnosing or making assumptions about what’s going on inside Lily’s head.

is this just another exaggeration from that group of people who got pissy over being told to tag things correctly?

It is genuinely inspiring to see someone reach their mid-thirties and maintain the exact same commitment to the bit.

Most 34-year-olds are bogged down by mundane offline reality, but why deal with the complexities of actual adulthood when you can spend your 34th year on earth screaming at your few remaining fans and relying on the Shinigami Eyes browser extension as your primary moral compass.

Also because my wedding is this Saturday I am taking a break from this blog until Monday, May 25th. I don't need internet drama taking up space in my brain when I have real things to worry about. Like remembering not to bite my nails so I can get them painted. Making sure I don't forget to pack the marriage license. Keeping mom from making last minute changes to the seating chart.

Gentle reminder the internet isn't everything and it's healthy to have a life outside of it!

Like, at least in America, and I’m not sure if there are international equivalents so bear with me, but we have JCAHO: the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. They help to set and standardize safety measures for mental health practices. The way that Iris would be expedited into the sun for violations of safety standards. An open flame?! Hot wax?! Both could be used to harm someone or someone’s self.

The scent is another thing, because generally, therapists are taught not to utilize heavy scents. Doesn’t matter if it’s perfume, hair/body care, or a candle, scents can trigger people. I used to work in a building that mandated no strong scents since some of our clients are children on the spectrum.

I just, ugh.

So yesterday I hop on clearsky cause it came up in a conversation in a server I'm in, I remember "oh right i have a bsky account guess I'll see who has me blocked lol"

A few people in Lily's circle, some ptaxx defenders, all people for whom I find being blocked by them to be a badge of honor.

And I know Lily hands out blocks like free candy so I decide for fun hey let's see who she's blocked for inane reasons this time!

Why'd she go on a blocking spree of everyone I follow on bluesky

Including 5 of my personal friends who know nothing about her.

But she doesn't have ME blocked?

That strikes me as odd. Is she keeping tabs on me?

Is this worth being paranoid about, considering this was apparently two months ago and I only found this out yesterday?

I've decided to block her instead for my own peace of mind but tell me if I'm overreacting here cause it seems really strange to block a bunch of my friends and twitter moots who have barely heard of her.

let's take notes on lily's Iris vignette!

"Oh! Doctor Morgan!" her receptionist exclaimed, slamming the phone down with a grim expression on her face. "Your nine o'clock had to be canceled, so your morning is free."

This receptionist is a literal serial killer. A teenager has just tragically ended her own life, the receptionist receives the call from presumably a grieving parent or the police, and her immediate instinct is to look at her boss and say, "Good news! You have a free morning!" She doesn't lead with the tragedy. She leads with the scheduling perk. She makes Dr. Morgan ask why the appointment was canceled before she winces and drops the suicide bomb. It reads less like a medical professional handling a crisis and more like a high schooler thrilled that first period biology was canceled.

"It wasn't lit often, maybe only three times since she opened her practice seven years ago…"

Lily wrote this line thinking it made Iris look experienced and empathetic. In reality, a single private-practice therapist losing a patient to suicide roughly once every two years is a statistically terrifying mortality rate.

If you are a solo practitioner and you have a recurring, bi-annual event where your patients die, you do not need a candle, you need a medical board investigation and a total audit of your clinical methods.

Imagine walking into your therapist's office because you're struggling with severe depression, and the receptionist is sitting next to a Yankee Candle.

Patient: Hi, I'm here for my 10:00 AM. Receptionist: Have a seat! Dr. Morgan will be right with you. Patient: It smells like vanilla in here. Nice candle. Receptionist: Oh, thanks! We only light that when one of our patients kills themselves. Anyway, your co-pay is $40.

I am not a lawyer, and this blog is not a courtroom.

The reality is that the legal system is notoriously ill-equipped to handle high-control digital ecosystems, parasocial grooming, and emotional abuse, especially when it spans across different states, countries, and years.

People have tried. Law enforcement doesn't really take "cyber crime" seriously. That's why aa bunch of people with various accusations almost always end up coming back in some form or another.

So fun fact about me! My day job is in marketing :)

I run ads and campaigns and budgets for a few local properties as well as a couple national ones.

And let me tell you one thing you learn really early on.

PR IS EVERYTHING.

You can have the most damning receipts in the world, but if you present them while screaming, using slurs, or fighting with five other bloggers in the tags, the general public will immediately write you off.

Abusers like Lily rely on their critics looking unhinged. They want the critical sphere to look like a mob of screaming "living abortions" (to use her terminology) because it retroactively justifies her victimhood.

If the tag is full of documented receipts, Lily has nowhere to hide. But if the tag is clogged with people gossiping, infighting, and tearing each other apart, Lily doesn't have to defend herself at all. She can just screenshot the tag, show it to her remaining followers, and say: "See? I told you they were just a bunch of toxic, gossiping bullies. My 'victims' are just making things up for attention!"

That is exactly why I am so uncompromising about what goes into the "Lily Orchard Critical" tag.

This isn't about me wanting to be the "Queen Bee," or trying to dictate who is allowed to be angry, or establishing a "mean girl hierarchy." It is basic digital hygiene. It is search engine optimization.

When a new victim or a confused fan searches that tag, they need to find a pristine, chronological filing cabinet of evidence. If they instead walk into a middle school cafeteria of bloggers fighting over who has the best take or who said what in a Discord server, we lose them. The archive loses all credibility, the victim clicks away, and Lily wins.

You want to gossip about other people in the sphere? You want to air out your interpersonal beef and fight about who is the "best" critic? Go for it. You have my full permission to talk all the shit you want.

But make your own tag for it.

around the 4 hr 5 minute mark on her stream today she goes on about how people are "throwing tantrums" about her baldur's gate takes while calling so-called tantrum-throwers "botched living abortions" and "jizz rags"

You know, I should probably rewatch Steven Universe without Lily's video affecting my judgment. Haven't touched an episode since I was still a fan.

It had its issues but overall I did enjoy it.
