Internet Affirmations
I do not need to form a response to or opinion about every argument I see.
I am not obligated to argue with people in my head to determine whether or not my initial reaction to them is wrong.
It is not necessary for me to hyperanalyse my opinions. I must only watch for the impact of my actions and reconsider my thoughts when harmful actions can be traced back to them.
I can try to expand what context a discourse takes into account in my own time when it becomes an enriching exercise to color my understanding of the world without trying to force such an exercise out of frustration and scrupulosity.
AND I do NOT need to update my social media to every change of heart I have. The self that is visible online does not need to match the true self within.
This applies to you too.
