this is so true 😔 i like making art, thats what I want to spend my time doing! not posting my comics to every social media and checking what the best tags are there and then still only getting 2 likes.
Tumblr seems to be real cruel to artists who aren't already in the 30k+ followers as of late (especially in the trans space), for some reason I see a lot of artists who were easily getting 1k+ notes on every post down to below 500
