Calypso (he/they/it)

Unlike the original Frankenstein Story, these monsters were not brought to life by electricity. Rather, through remnant (yes the most cursed part of FNAF lore). Calypso is an amalgamation of all the parts the creator ‘tested’ on before moving onto his official creation, Lunar. Fueled by the ‘parts’ remnant and the spite of being discarded, Calypso stitched himself together—hell bent on proving that he is more than some weak mans attempt at playing god. Made of primarily flesh stitched over a metal body, he isn’t nearly as organic as Lunar or Solis. He even regards himself as ‘soulless’—whatever that means. He imbodies the original ending of Frankenstein. Calypso continues to haunt and chase his creator until the end of his life. Now gone, he roams this world taking out those with cruel intentions.

Taking up the mantel of ‘The Hunter’, Calypso walks the darker side of the world. Taking care of the dirty humans that no longer serve this world’s purpose. If I could describe him as any quote, it would be “I have love in me the likes of which you can scarcely imagine and rage the likes of which you would not believe. If I cannot satisfy the one, I will indulge the other.” Calypso stands as a counterpart to Solis and Lunar, and what they could have ended up as without their companionship. He firmly believes that monsters like him should not exist, but he cannot end his suffering as a man fueled by something beyond science. While also believing that he is intrinsically better than humanity, a man created through sheer will alone. What a contradictory monster.

Physically, Calypso is tall. Around 9ft (compared to Solis and Lunars 8ft). The darker parts of his skin are leathery, previous experimented on via fire—something he deeply fears. One ingrained through rampant memories imbued in his flesh.

Calypso enters this tale after hearing that, although unlikely, another one of him may exist on the far edges of a small village. He would be amiss to ignore these rumors, it would be a mercy to end those who suffer the same immortal curse as him. However, The Apothecary has suffered enough in life, and will not back down easily. They will not allow someone to extinguish, what they believe, are the beautiful creations that are Solis and Lunar. Entertained by the notion that a human would protect such tragic creatures, he indulges in the cruel intention of playing your game.

But maybe, just maybe, you can change his mind and prove that deep down, Calypso does have a soul.

Calypso’s favorite color is purple!

He’s a slut for a high collar, and has a pension for fashion (that unfortunately, doesn’t really fit his stature).

He likes to call you ‘little lamb’. As he firmly believes that by interacting with these monsters is you willing sacrificing yourself, like a lamb to slaughter.

He’s a crafty guy. Living in the dark corners of the 18th century means that he learned how to fix just about anything.

He doesn’t outright hate humanity, just the crueler parts. Actually, he holds the firm belief that the innocents of this world deserve to be protected. The part that balances out the sins his creator released.

Calypso likes to indulge in self care. Both to maintain his false sense of confidence and to make sure his body can hold its own.

With the newest chapters of SITG giving us the roots to a (hopefully) more healthy relationship with Sun, I really wanted to hold his hand. But I distinctly remember a quote from chapter two, when Sun was doing a service for Mr. Laurent, "This is not an invitation for intimacy. It is a demand". I want to not only hold his hand, but also want him to actually want to hold my hand in return, additionally I wanted to portray a moment where the choice was up to Sun to decline but for once it was Cherry Blossom reaching out instead of Sun.

I hope I got Sun's character correct in my depiction, and portrayed his beauty well! I know Cherry Blossom's hair and outfit aren't fully correct, but I wanted to add more touches of myself while incorporating the cannon design elements for C.B., so she has half pink hair and half my brown (that I love as brown) and a touch of green as it's my favorite color! I think the hair can still pass for the C.B. nickname because cherry blossom trees have brown branches!

Anyway, know that these Geishas (and Orian, though I'd never tell him this) take up many of my waking thoughts, I adore them and so desperately want a happy ending for everyone! I love them your honor. And thank you for writing SITG, it's sooo good, I eagerly await each update! I'm thoroughly hooked, and though I don't always comment, know I am insane and feral about this AU.

This is such a good scene between Cherry Blossom and Sun! I think you did a very good job to capture his character. He would be reluctant to share that kind of affection at first, but he is really starting to care about Cherry Blossom so he would certainly give in to the desire to be close to them like that. I also love that even while he's holding their hand he still manages to be haughty about it. He is right though and that is exactly what he would say "You can't make me do anything even if you wanted to." Because they couldn't! If Sun really didn't want to do something with them he simply wouldn't! But he will, because he wants to show them some care.

Poor Cherry Blossom spilling tea on their face. They're so flustered but it's so cute! How could Sun possibly resist them? He can't, obviously. This is such a sweet moment!

And your design for Cherry Blossom is so CUTE! I think it absolutely fits to give them brown hair like a cherry blossom tree. And freckles?? I LOVE FRECKLES!! (I have brown hair and freckles and I am also very proud of those parts of myself).

HOW YOU'VE DRAWN SUN IS STUNNING!! I love the panel where he has his fan up. The expression and ornaments are gorgeous! His makeup is so lovely too. And his sash? With the blue and the clouds? LOVELY!! He's so pretty!!
