1. Hi hi, there's a fic I was reading but didn't complete and unfortunately didn't bookmark where XY goes to the burial mounds demanding to be WWX's disciple. It was set in CQL verse iirc, and I remember XY saying something along the lines of there finally being a sect worthy of his time and respect. He spent a lot of time goading WWX about his and LZ's 'weird' relationship and I also remember that it was told in dual timeline perspective. The past in XY's and WWX's pov and the present in MXY's. @jonskory

It was an au where as a young child LWJ was separated from the Lan clan (maybe taken by brothel slavers?) and he put some kind of curse on himself to look ugly and scarred so that people wouldn't pay attention to him. As a teen he begins crossing paths with WWX and Lan Xichen and they are some of the few people who are kind to him. I can't remember if the Sunshot Campaign or other canon events happen, but there are conferences and night hunts and such where the clans gather and many people make fun of LWJ’s ugliness. Someone else pretends to be the long lost second son of Lan, which Lan Xichen struggles with because he kind of recognized his real brother in cursed!LWJ. Eventually LWJ's curse is broken. Would love to read this again, thank you!

5. Hi, hope I'm in the right space. There's a fic I've been looking for idk how long know. So I'm hoping it hasn't been deleted. Modern AU. WY is in a coma and appears as a ghost to a-yuan. I think he calls him mama, LZ gets scared when he sees ghost WY and yells at him thinking is an evil spirit. A-yuan gets mad and says he hates LZ and WY never appears again. Years pass and a-yuan grows and when goes to the hospital to visit WQ finds WY in a room connected to a machine and discovered what happened. He keeps visiting him and brings him puddin or something. WY wakes up and everyone is happy.

7. Hello!! I was looking for a wangxian fic where wangji took the blow at the nightless city and xichen was very angry at Wuxian and took injured wangji to Qinghe Nie . Wuxian feels very guilty and agrees to go to gusu clan to face punishment . Xichen stays in Qinghe and binds his core to wangji's to keep him alive(This is revealed later in the fic after wuxian knows wangji is alive) . Xichen never lets Wuxian (who is in isolation in gusu) know that wangji is alive and lets wuxian live with that guilt for around 2 years. Wuxian then sneaks off to Qinghe (for some reason with someone nhs i think idr) and he bumps into wangji and basically refuses to believe that wangji is real and thinks it's a nightmare again and passes out. Xichen realised how much guilt wuxian was carrying and apologized. That's all I remember . It was complete but i just can't seem to find it. Thank you so much!! This is probably the wildest story I am going to ask, does anyone know the fic where Lan wangji is a wolf shifter and didn't tell his boyfriend Wei wuxian at first then later Wei wuxian was told by Lan wangji since he would be missing or going into rut, the only thing I remember being memorable so much is that lan wangji knotted on him in wolf form despite Wei wuxian fear he love Lan wangji enough for it and many things. I have been trying to find this fic sometime now and it's been so hard! It is an established relationship/marriage fic where Wei Wuxian is married into Gusu Lan! He is attending some sort of formal gathering or banquet wearing clothes specifically tailored to show him off as "Lan Furen" (Madam Lan / Lan Wangji's husband)

While WWX is mingling with the guests, acting entirely proper, prim, and dignified, Lan Wangji is watching him and getting extremely horny in public, where I distinctly remember a scene where LWJ is gripping his chopsticks tightly (or gripping Bichen??) due to arousal/ sexual tension while trying to maintain his composure in public coz WWX is always hot but LWJ being possessive and all as usual! I can't remember if it was a multi-chapter fic or a standalone one-shot!

13. Hi! I was wondering if you can help me find a fanfic I've read a while back. In the story they were just kids in the beginning and little Wei Ying brought cookies to lan zhan's house and he thought Lan Zhan was mute/deaf... Further into the story a memorable chapter for me was when Wei Ying dressed up as a bride in Halloween and punched wen chao. Any help is appreciated and I hope this fic isn't deleted. 14. Hi, for the next fic finder—I am trying to find a canon au where the cultivation world post sunshot plus some years later needs help with something (possibly burial mounds resentment related?) and track down WWX. He never died but I’m not sure if the wen remnants did or not.

Eventually various sect cultivators go out in a couple ships and find WWX on an island iirc and he maybe has a core again. I think he makes some kind of deal in exchange for his help?

15. Hi! I'm hoping you could help me find a WangXian fic I read once on AO3 and can't find since. It's a modern AU which begins with WWX having to live in his car for some time because he's unhoused. He gets a call from Lan Xichen who asks him to petsit a spiritual rabbit that used to belong to Lan Yu while he has to travel. The rabbit is actually LWJ whom Lan Yu turned into a rabbit until he learns some sort of lesson. WWX agrees, happy to have somewhere warm to stay. I remember bunny LWJ is frustrated WWX doesn't eat or take care of himself so he brings him his lettuce to try and remind him to eat. Later WWX goes on a nighthunt and returns seriously wounded. I don't remember why he can't go to a hospital. He feels he can't call Wen Qing for help so he calls LWJ but LWJ of course can't answer and WWX passes out thinking LWJ doesn't even care enough for him to answer his call. Meanwhile bunny LWJ is frantic trying to help WWX in some way and the danger of the situation allows LWJ to break Lan Yu's spell on him. He turns human, calls Wen Qing and she comes over to stitch WWX up. The fic ends with them confessing their feelings for each other and WWX agreeing to move in with LWJ. The only way to get him back in the game is for someone else to pilot the thing remotely, but it's risky- he would be fully relying on that person to not only pilot it effectively, but avoid getting him killed in the process.

And on top of that, as major as that obviously is, we also have to consider that Tony is gone. This is probably the last suit beyond his own that he ever worked on, and if it's destroyed beyond repair... that's it.

The good news is, they have a specialist. The bad news is, it's Rocket. And Rocket literally just showed up with a bedraggled Buck, pulling up on the scene and falling out of a shitty little early-2000's Volvo full of empty cans with a "my kid's an honor student" bumper sticker slapped on the back and a freshly duct-taped-on arm that looks like it was made for a 98 year old florist- certainly not something that would be of much use in the kind of combat he's used to.

It takes Grace a fucking while after getting to Erid to notice that a lot of the gifts he's receiving from grateful Eridians are either a) sparkly, b) incredibly shiny, or c) fitted with lights.

While the last one is obviously a concession for his human light sense, he's confused about the former two. Are Eridian materials usually this shiny? Is there some quality about sparkly or highly polished surfaces that makes them sound better? Or is there something about Eridian geology/metallurgy that makes their materials like this?

He asks Rocky about it.

“Simple. I tell people humans like lots of small lights. Humans are easy to make happy.”

Grace kind of wants to protest that humans are much more complicated than that.

But honestly… it fucking works. Like yeah the polished gemstones, shiny metals and glittery rocks are beautiful. Yes those Christmas lights you put up around the house did markedly improve my mental health, Rocky. Thank you, I hate it.

Summer sees both a drop off in donations and, at least for our trauma center, a spike in traumas. Trauma centers across the US are in danger of running out of blood for our trauma patients TODAY, which is very scary but, unlike much of the other scary national news coming across our screens these days, is something you can help fix immediately and directly.

Blood donation is relatively easy and provides an immediate impact to people in your community -- or even farther! The coolest thing the Red Cross does is tell you where your donations end up. My last donation got shipped from Utah all the way to the University of Philadelphia. (Enjoy my B+ vibes, Philly.)

Also, you get snacks and sometimes gift cards and free swag. If you squeeze a visit in by July 31, you can get a free Fandango movie ticket. (They're doing Hello Kitty swag in September and you bet your ass I already have appointments.)

If you're new to donating, some tips:

Drink plenty of water the night before and before your appointment. The more water, the more plump your veins are and the faster your goes.

Women often get deferred because of low iron levels. Over-the-counter iron supplements a few days before a donation will help boost your count, as will eating iron rich foods. (Cheerios are always my go-to iron boosters.) Don't schedule donations when you're menstruating.

If you are deferred for low iron or vital signs issues, you can try again within 24 hours.

If you've had a tattoo or piercing in the last three months, you will be deferred until a full three months have passed.

Don't donate on an empty stomach. Dehydration and low blood sugar contribution to fainting and dizzy spells.

After donating, don't exercise for 24 hours. You'll likely notice a dip in your tolerance for a few days after a donation as your system adjusts.

If you don't like needles, look away when they poke you and don't look at the donation site. They usually cover the needle during the donation process.

The initial poke does hurt, but the rest of the donation should be painless. If you feel burning, stinging, or any other abnormal sensation from the entry site, tell a phlebotomist and they'll help you out.

If you're like me and you have difficult veins, you can still give! Being hydrated, doing arm curls, and having an electrolyte drink can help plump your veins up. Ask for the most experienced phlebotomist on the floor to draw your blood. They're less likely to dig around or miss on a difficult vein.

While the majority of blood donations have zero issues, bad donations do happen. Sometimes it's a bad draw, an equipment issue, or your body just not cooperating; it sucks and it's not fun, but you'll usually come out of it with a bruise and know how you can make your experience better. Please don't give up because of one bad experience.
