I've been moving most of my non-essential items into a small climate-controlled storage unit I've started renting (primarily for art storage) so that it's easier on myself and others helping me when the day of the move comes around. This past weekend, the house I'm in now was empty of people and dogs so I used that as an opportunity to get as much stuff out as possible. This was especially so I can make room for me to vacuum-seal my HUUGE beanbag, making a lot of noise I didn't want to inflict onto any by-standing dogs or people.

On my last trip to my unit yesterday, I had accomplished a feat of extreme real-life Tetris fitting a whole load of stuff into my tiny-ass Fiat hatchback while still able to see out my rear and side windows. When I got there, I saw there was some people lingering in the climate-controlled building and lounging on the cart that I needed to use (I had a lot of heavy stuff to bring in that I was not boutta go back-and-forth with again). When I asked to use it they were super chill and said the two were waiting for a friend so they could help them. I'm thinking "cool! hope their friend shows up soon so they're not waiting too long."

Well, I get the cart to my car and I think "hmm... they seem rather bored, and I, personally, am quite amused by how much stuff I fit in my tiny car. I wonder if they'll get a kick out of it." So I go back inside and ask "actually, do you wanna see something amusing? Wanna see how much stuff I fit in my tiny car?" and they were right on it xD

I get them to my car and, besides being impressed by the quantity of items, they're instantly complimenting me on my various stickers including "Get in losers we're embracing a child-like sense of wonder" and "Here I Go in my BIG GAY CAR" (my personal fav) and the girl actually offers to help with my stuff. I'm like "wha-" when she says the two of them actually move people for their job, which is super cool!

Sure enough, the girl helps me load the cart, helps me not get pummeled by the door, and even helps me unload the stuff into my unit in such a way that there's still room for me to put a couple more boxes if I so pleased.

Both her and the other guy were interested in my ceramics and art stuff and I offered said ceramics to them as they were some rejects from intro class. She ended up liking one of the bowls and took it, gushing over the color and what she was gonna use it for to the other guy. Now one of the bowls I had just sitting around is in the hands of someone who truly loves it :] (in addition to it now being an equal interaction as I was starting to feel bad xD)
