upward spiralling

i'm not gonna write it, so i'm just daydreaming of the fact dnp said they had come close to murdering each other during lockdown or whatever, and i do think it's obviously an exageration, but i AM imagining them arguing pretty nastily right until phil (angrily! pettily!) tells dan he's certainly not going to let him win and he IS going to love his annoying ass and not leave him so take THAT and suddenly Dan's all soft wide eyes and phil is like "stop it. stop that." and dan's like "i'm not doing anything" and phil's like "you don't get to look at me like that when i want to kill you" and Dan just steps close to come kiss him and Phil (weaker now, listen, look, Dan's hands on his hips, he's used to it, Dan's little flushed cheeks, the slight shine in his stupid brown eyes at the thought of being loved despite all his flaws- he's not IMMUNE) goes "I'm really, really mad at you" and Dan's like "yeah, same, bitch. i'm going to kiss you now."
