Currently trying to apply for disability allowance and one question was ‘do you struggle with showering’ and I was getting a friend to help me and I said to them ‘no cause I sit down while doing my hair and I always shower at night so I can lie down after so it doesn’t affect me too much’ and they said ‘but if you showered during the day?’ and I said ‘oh. Yeah I wouldn’t be able to function for 3+ hours.’ it’s just so funny to realise what things are so engrained in my day that I don’t even know they’re not normal, like of course I can’t shower during the day, that’s fine?

Trying to prove a point to someone who doesn’t understand why going to a new doctor would be anxiety inducing because “they’ve literally made a whole career out of wanting to help people, how could they do any wrong.” And “Why would you be scared of someone that spent years and years, went hundreds of thousands in debt, just to be able to help people?”
