can’t believe I have to say this but it’s completely okay to question your own sexuality as an adult. you don’t have to have every single thing in your life figured out before you turn 18 babe. those socially deadlines are not real. there’s actually no such thing as deadline for learning new things about yourself as long as you’re alive
Aroace people should get an alternate quest line while allos get into romantic relationships. Just for something to do. You know how mantis shrimps can see more colours than humans or whatever that fact is. Aroace people should be able to do something that allo people can’t access. Due to their allo-ness
Kinda resent the whole idea of "ohh trans people are born that way" and "gay people are born that way" thing because like. Personally, at some point I WAS a little girl. I loved being feminine and was fine being a girl when I was still wee. But then something changed and now I prefer to present and be referred to and to Be masculine in some sense. And that's valid.
And like. Attraction changes throughout people's lives. The obvious one where people tend to be attracted to anyone their age or older and it shifts as they age but smaller things like preferences, and what they find attractive in a person too. Including gender or presentation.
We don't need to be Born a certain way to be valid or real. If you are something then you are something. The butterfly was a caterpillar at some point but it's a butterfly Now and that's what matters. Let's stop teaching people that they can only ever be one thing throughout their entire lives and remember people change sometimes.

“Reminder that aspecs can still date and love their friends and family” and themselves. And their hobbies, and their passion in life, and the media they consume and their pets and places they like to go and food and drinks they like and in fact they don’t have to subscribe to the idea of “love” at all. You don’t have to date or have friends or family to be a person. You don’t have to fit into what society wants your life to be like to not be a robot. When I complain about aphobes implying that people who don’t date are machines, I’m not just complaining that they devalue platonic or familial love. They’re devaluing the idea of being your own person and thats a type of aphobia people don’t talk about enough. Aspecs can do whatever they want forever and that includes everything.
Unfortunately serious post but given that the current climate I think we gotta stop acting scandalized by anything to do with sex, even as a joke. I need people to be as mad about "jokingly" referring to anything sexual as "sin" and "jokingly" shaming people for expressing sexuality or discussing sexual topics and the like as we are about "girl math" and "girl dinner." Because the people we're up against are not joking, they actually do think sex is inherently perverse and sinful and can only be sanctified within the bounds of total conformity and denial of personal agency, and they're out to shame and villifiy all forms of sexual nonconformity, including all forms of queerness, including asexuality because that too is an assertion of personal agency and therefore a threat to hegemony. At this point we cannot be reinforcing any of that even as a joke. Enough. Sex is neither evil nor sacred, it's a morally neutral subset of human behaviors.
