Ingredients: 2 pizza dough balls. 1 cup marinara sauce. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni. 1/2 cup sliced black olives. 1/2 cup diced bell peppers. 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms. 1/2 cup sliced onions. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Divide the pizza dough balls into 2/3 and 1/3 portions, with the smaller portion for the 'lid'. Roll out the larger portion of dough and line a greased, oven-safe pot or ramekin with it, leaving some overhang. Layer the sliced pepperoni, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, black olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions over the dough. Season with dried oregano, garlic powder, red pepper flakes if desired, salt, and pepper. Pour the marinara sauce over the ingredients. Roll out the smaller portion of dough and use it to cover the pot, sealing the edges by pressing them together with the overhanging dough. Brush the top with olive oil and make a small slit in the center to allow steam to escape. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
