► Synopsis | after secretly talking to your brother cute best friend you guys plan something in hopes you don’t get caught.
► word count | 1k
► Warning | reader and Ohyul and very awkward while texting, it’s really cheesy
Not long after you finished talking about the menu, your food finally arrived.
The waiter carefully set the dishes down in front of both of you, and the warm steam rising from the bowls immediately filled the space between the table. The smell alone made your mouth water.
“Oh wow,” you said softly, leaning a little closer to the table to look at it properly.
Ohyul smiled as he watched your reaction.
“Looks good, right?”
You nodded quickly.
“Definitely.”
The two of you started eating, and for a few minutes the conversation slowed—not because things were awkward, but because the food was genuinely that good.
After your first bite, your eyes widened slightly.
“Okay… you were right,” you admitted. “This is amazing.”
Ohyul chuckled, clearly pleased.
“I told you.”
After a few bites, curiosity got the better of you.
You leaned forward slightly, eyeing his plate.
“Can I try yours?” you asked.
He blinked for a moment before sliding his dish a little closer.
“Of course.”
You took a small bite and hummed approvingly.
“That’s really good too.”
“Let me try yours then,” he said.
Soon you were both laughing quietly as you switched plates back and forth, letting each other try different bites of your meals.
Neither of you could even decide which one you liked more.
Eventually your dishes were finished, and you both leaned back slightly in your chairs, feeling comfortably full. But neither of you seemed ready for the night to end.
So you stayed there, talking.
Your conversation drifted naturally from one topic to another—funny childhood stories, embarrassing moments, and random little things about your lives that you hadn’t mentioned earlier.
After a while, Ohyul glanced down at his watch.
8:00 PM.
He looked back up at you.
“You up for dessert?” he asked.
Your face immediately lit up.
“Heck yeah.”
Ohyul laughed softly at your enthusiasm while you eagerly reached for the dessert menu.
You leaned over it with interest, scanning the options before finally deciding on something simple.
“I’ll just get a shake,” you said.
Ohyul nodded before choosing something different.
“I think I’ll get gaeseong-juak.”
You tilted your head slightly.
“That sounds fancy.”
He shrugged with a small smile.
“It’s just a traditional dessert. But it’s really good.”
When the waiter returned, you placed your orders and continued talking while you waited.
When the desserts arrived, you both immediately dug in.
You took a sip of your shake and sighed happily.
“That’s perfect.”
Ohyul smiled and leaned forward slightly.
“Can I try it?”
You slid it toward him and watched as he took a sip.
“Yeah,” he said, nodding. “That’s good.”
You tried his dessert as well, and before you knew it, the two of you were once again sharing bites and laughing over small comments about the food.
More conversation followed.
More laughter.
Time passed quicker than either of you realized.
Eventually Ohyul checked the time again.
8:30 PM.
He looked up at you.
“You ready to go?” he asked.
You raised an eyebrow slightly.
“Already?”
He smiled a little.
“I still have something I want to show you.”
Your curiosity immediately sparked.
“Well now I have to see it,” you said with a smile. “Yeah, I’m ready.”
Ohyul left the cash for the bill on the table before standing.
You both walked out of the restaurant together into the cool night air.
Then suddenly—
Ohyul grabbed your hand.
“Come on.”
And started running.
You burst out laughing as he pulled you along.
“Ohyul! Why are we running?”
“Makes it more fun!” he called back, speeding up slightly.
You laughed harder.
“I guess!”
The two of you ran through the quiet streets together, laughing the entire time like a pair of kids sneaking out late at night.
Eventually he led you up a set of cracked stone stairs that climbed a small hill.
By the time you reached the top, you were both slightly out of breath.
Then you saw it.
A small bridge stretched across a peaceful pond below, glowing softly from the lights placed along the railing. The water reflected the lights and the night sky, making the whole place look calm and magical.
Ohyul finally stopped running.
You slowly looked around.
“This place is usually empty at night,” he explained. “But it’s the most peaceful around this time.”
You stared out at the quiet pond, the reflections rippling slightly across the water.
“It’s beautiful,” you said softly.
Ohyul gently took your hand again and led you closer to the edge of the pond.
Nearby stood a large tree, its branches spreading above you. Soft white petals had fallen around the base of it.
Ohyul slipped off his jacket and placed it on the ground.
“So you don’t have to sit on the grass.”
He helped you sit down before sitting beside you, close enough that your shoulders brushed.
You turned to look at him.
“This is really beautiful, Ohyul.”
Your eyes met his.
For a moment, neither of you said anything.
The sparkle in your eyes made his stomach twist slightly.
His gaze slowly dropped from your eyes to your lips.
You noticed.
Slowly, Ohyul lifted his hand and rested it gently on your waist, pulling you a little closer.
“Ohyul…” you whispered.
The way you said his name made his heart race.
He leaned closer.
But he stopped just before your lips touched, giving you the chance to pull away if you wanted.
You noticed the hesitation.
Instead of moving away…
You leaned closer too.
Your lips hovered barely an inch apart.
Then both of you moved at the same time.
Your lips met in a soft kiss.
It was gentle and hesitant at first, like neither of you wanted to rush the moment.
Your lips were warm and incredibly soft.
Ohyul didn’t want to pull away.
But eventually he did.
You both opened your eyes and looked at each other again.
Neither of you spoke.
But the feeling between you hadn’t faded.
If anything, it had grown stronger.
Ohyul gently lifted his hand to your cheek and leaned in again.
This time the kiss was deeper.
Still soft—but more certain.
When you finally parted, your foreheads rested against each other.
Both of you were smiling.
“Thank you for taking me on this date, Ohyul,” you said softly.
He smiled.
“Of course.”
Then he added quietly,
“Thank you for letting me.”
You giggled.
“You’re the idol.”
Ohyul shook his head slightly and pulled you a little closer.
You rested your head against his shoulder while both of you looked out at the quiet pond.
After a moment, he pulled out his phone and started playing soft music.
You stayed there together, talking quietly while the music played and the night stayed calm around you.
Eventually Ohyul checked the time again.
9:20 PM.
He sighed.
“Damn.”
You looked up at him.
“What?”
“I gotta get you home,” he said reluctantly.
You groaned dramatically.
He laughed and stood up before offering you his hand.
You took it and stood as well, grabbing his jacket from the ground.
“Do we have to run back too?” you asked jokingly.
“Oh no,” he said, laughing. “Definitely not.”
The two of you walked back slowly this time, hand in hand.
Partway down the hill, Jay’s car pulled up to meet you.
The ride back was quiet and comfortable.
Once you arrived at your house, Ohyul walked you all the way to the front door.
You turned toward him with a smile.
“Thank you again for the amazing night.”
Before he could respond, you leaned forward and kissed his cheek.
He froze for half a second before smiling.
“Have a good rest of your night,” he said softly.
“You too.”
Once Ohyul stepped inside the dorm, the door clicking shut behind him, he finally let out a long breath he didn’t even realize he’d been holding.
The night air still clung to his clothes, along with the faint scent of your perfume. For a moment he just stood there in the quiet hallway, replaying the night in his head.
The dinner.
The way you laughed when he made you run.
The pond.
The kiss.
A small smile slowly spread across his face.
He lifted a hand and rubbed the back of his neck, almost embarrassed even though no one was there to see him.
“Wow…” he muttered quietly to himself.
The date had gone better than he could have imagined.
Still smiling to himself, he began walking down the hallway toward his room. As he walked, he loosened his tie and pulled it off completely, tossing it over his shoulder.
He started unbuttoning the top few buttons of his shirt too, already thinking about how good a shower would feel after such a long day.
His mind was still completely stuck on you.
The way you looked in that dress.
The way you held his hand.
The way you leaned in
His smile widened again without him realizing.
He stepped into his room and closed the door behind him, continuing to unbutton his shirt. He was just about to pull it off when—
rapid footsteps echoed down the hallway.
He paused.
The footsteps were loud.
Fast.
Before he could even turn around to question it—
BANG.
His door burst open.
Ohyul jumped slightly, immediately grabbing the edges of his half-unbuttoned shirt in surprise.
Standing in the doorway were Louis, Ryul… and Woojin.
Louis and Ryul looked like they were trying extremely hard not to laugh. Their faces held a very obvious knowing expression, like they had just uncovered the biggest secret of the year.
But Woojin?
Woojin looked furious.
His jaw was tight and his arms were crossed as he stared directly at Ohyul.
Ohyul blinked.
“…What?”
Before he could even say anything else, Woojin stepped forward and pointed at him.
“Ohyul, I’m gonna kill you.”
Ohyul’s eyes widened immediately.
“WHAT?!” he shouted, throwing his hands up defensively.
Louis snorted from the doorway.
Ryul was already struggling to hold back laughter.
“Ohyul…” Woojin said slowly, shaking his head like he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. “Out of everyone… you?”
Ohyul looked completely confused.
“What are you talking about?!”
Woojin didn’t respond right away.
Instead, he slowly pulled his phone out of his pocket.
Ohyul watched nervously as Woojin unlocked it, tapped a few times, then turned the screen around so Ohyul could see it.
“Oh really?” Woojin said. “You wanna explain this then?”
Ohyul leaned forward slightly to look at the screen—

synopsis: you're acting a little... different after a certain occurrence happened (you got jealous). and julien loki notices immediately!
warnings: uhm this is just fluff, might be ooc. that's all!
second fic let's go?
Your initial plan of ignoring Julien Loki's messages for an hour failed. You were jealous, but it's not like you could blame him for that, no of course not — you were just distancing yourself from everyone for a little bit just to take a break. If you could call it that.
You sat on the couch, mindlessly scrolling on your phone before stumbling upon another tweet talking about your boyfriend — Julien Loki.
"What's this...?" You murmured to yourself before reading the title of the tweet: ”Julien Loki spotted with the actress, Alleesa Evans near a bakeshop! Secret couple of the year?!”
To say you got annoyed was an understatement, you opened your secret account and commented on the discussion as fans were flooding the replies with joy — it didn't help that in previous years that same rumor existed.
You were so bitter, it was almost laughable with how pathetic you felt.
Then again... He is your boyfriend and you do have the right to throw your two cents into the discourse, not that everyone knew you were since Julien himself never made a statement regarding his love life — which you didn't mind.. but still.
A few hours later, someone opened the door, the certain someone being your boyfriend himself. He scanned the surroundings only to find no one around; "Strange.. Mon Cheri? Are you home?" Julien called out, only to be met with silence — he sighs before taking off his shoes and dropping his bag in the living room then setting the pastries down on the table.
He searches for you, looking around in the bedroom and opening the wardrobe to find you in the dark corner watching something on your laptop. "Mon Cheri, what are you doing? Have you been in the house the whole day?" Julien asks as he approaches you with slight caution, just in case.
You don't reply, just focusing on the show you were watching without a care in the world — that's before he sat down next to you and tried closing the laptop. "No, I'm getting to the best part." Smacking his hand off the laptop and shoving him away, "Leave me alone, if you don't want to watch." You grumbled.
"Fine, fine." He decides to let you be, and watches with you, "What even is interesting about this show? You've rewatched it for the fourth time this year."
"Will you shut up?" You snapped, clearly cranky. You didn't feel like dealing with his attitude right now; cause on top of being jealous — you died to an entity in a game. Entity, of all things.
Julien looked at you in surprise, before deciding to just stay quiet for now. He can pester you with questions later so for now he'll settle with trying to get you close to him and cuddle, at least.
Although the task was a little hard to accomplish, Julien Loki managed to secure the win and stay close to you. The show's end credits played and you didn't feel like watching anymore so you turned the laptop off, with that the both of you sat in silence.
"So.. what's wrong?" He starts, looping his arms around your waist and pulling you close. "Well for starters, when are you going to soft launch me? I'm getting tired of 'Julien Loki and his actress girlfriend' rumors running around like an elephant." You replied back fast, faster than he could finish his sentence.
He went quiet, thinking about it for a moment — "Well, I could do that now." Julien announced, "If you're doing it now, why didn't you do it sooner?" You clapped back. The room felt a little tense.
"I didn't think I had to announce it to the world, plus I know you don't really enjoy some attention from paparazzi. So I didn't say anything to the press." Julien Loki finally explained, you sighed giving up the act as you released yourself from his grasp and turned around to face him.
Giving him a quick peck on the cheek, before smothering him in kisses as an apology making Julien chuckle as he pulled you closer to him. "So you really want me to do it? Soft launch you and whatnot?" He asks, one more time just to make sure and you nodded.
"Alright then, I'll do it. Just for you." Julien huffs, before opening his phone — and seeing all the tweets about yesterday's incident. Charles had told him about it earlier but he wanted to know if that's the reason why you acted like that himself. "Ah, so that's what this is hm?" He stares at you to check, and you subtly confirm it.
"I guess it is." You mumble quietly, holding his shirt tightly.
...
"You do know that she's only trying to get some attention from the press to get famous right?"
"So? I'm still annoyed about it."
"Okay, I won't argue then."
"Good."
...
a/n: FINALLY i pulled myself tgt and finished this omagah.. i think u can tell it's lowk rushed but I pushed myself to finish this little fic so I hope it's good enough yes there will be more Julien Loki, and i don't apologize for that.
