This decadent double chocolate chip skillet cookie will satisfy your chocolate cravings. It's crispy around the edges, gooey in the center, and delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 1/4 cup white chocolate chips. Vanilla ice cream for serving.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C. Melt the butter and mix the white sugar, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl using a whisk. Mix the egg and vanilla extract into the bowl until it's all smooth. Add the cocoa powder and all-purpose flour and sift them in. Salt and baking soda should be added. Don't mix any further than that. The chocolate chips and white chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in. When you put the cookie dough in a cast-iron skillet, make sure it's spread out evenly. It should be baked in a hot oven for twenty to twenty-five minutes, or until the edges are set but the middle is still a little gooey. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you serve it. While the cookie is still warm, put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Enjoy the rich and tasty double chocolate chip skillet cookie!
