I think I am officially Fandom Old. I am so worn out from the arguments on who's the top or the bottom (who cares), what is allowed to be written (anything you want, bejeebus), what is Problematic (I know, just tag it), what other people Should Do (they Should live their lives free of judgment). There isn't a Right Way to do things. Tag your stuff appropriately, don't read stuff you don't want to read, and leave other people (me) alone.
There is nothing quite like the freedom of having gone through all of the Discourse and come out the other side into the promised land of Not Giving A Fuck.

I really think everyone needs to truly internalize this:
Fictional characters are objects.
They are not people. You cannot "objectify" them, because they have no personhood to be deprived of. They have no humanity to be erased. You cannot "disrespect" them, because they are not real.
I know this has good intentions, so I will just add the "how you treat them, even as objects of fiction, can speak about your own character, be careful out there"
Your addition is actually completely antithetical to my message. It is literally the opposite of what I am conveying.

How you treat fictional characters, given they are entirely objects of fiction, does NOT necessarily speak to your own character, and you do not need to be "careful".
It is not dangerous to imagine dark things happening to fictional characters. It does not mean you are secretly a bad person. It does not mean you unconsciously want to hurt people in real life. It is not a "slippery slope" to doing bad things to people in real life. You cannot damage your brain or turn yourself into a bad person by consuming "dark" fanfic.
I can write tentacle noncon of my favorite character all day long and be a fierce anti-sexual assault advocate in real life because what I do in my head is not the same thing as what I do in real life.

He's not even making it up wholesale because we've done this before in Dan Curtis' Dracula, and Bram Stoker's Dracula by Francis Ford Coppola, and also Dracula Untold sets up this same plotline in its epilogue. Far from not being previously explored, it's been done to death even though it has no basis in the novel.

It’s also funny to me how proshippers will try to take the moral high ground and claim antis should be protecting children if they care so much for fictional ones. But proshippers themselves are the ones who care so much about putting fictional children into sexualised content, shouldn’t they be the ones putting in an effort to connect with real people for once? Maybe get some perspective on WHY this shit is kinda weird?

Adults should be smart enough to know the difference between reality and fiction. Engaging with problematic fiction will not make you a rapist nor a killer. You anti's do not get to dictate how victims of abuse ought to deal with their own trauma. A lot of victims of abuse use fiction to cope with what happened to them. Minors should not be in fandom spaces to begin with. Fandom is a space for ADULTS and if minors get involved in a space where adults talk about adult things, they don't have the right to tell adults what they should do and shouldn't do regarding what they like. Leave that damn place. The problem is not that you find it disgusting, that people is that you want to monitor how others enjoy fiction. THAT'S the real issue. This is the pipeline to censorship. Are you sure you wanna encourage censorship? Because trust me that it will bite people like you in the ass as well.
If this stuff is being posted in non-adult channels or is being tagged incorrectly or not tagged at all, that is wrong and needs to stop.
But if it's being posted in the correct channels in the server, or if it's tagged correctly on AO3 or Tumblr or whatever, then shut the fuck up. Block the tags, block the blog, mute the channels, etc.
