I noticed “made by AI” on one of their tweets and very cordially replied that AI is harmful to both the creative community and communities as a whole where data centers are popping up.

Whoever runs the Twitter, in return, replied back with a fucking essay length comment on the BENEFITS of AI.

Ngl, this one hurts. We were actually mutuals over there. When I got the follow back from them, I was ecstatic.

Now I’m just sad for Lady Washington. That the people involved with her are perfectly fine with destroying our planet and hurting artists and writers (and literally HARMING PEOPLE)

And it struck me earlier that this discourse is so volatile because you have Gen Z Europeans and Gen Z Americans bitching at each other with such superiority while being so incredibly WRONG about so much of what they say.

Literally talking on linguistics like they know better than experts and those of us who have actual education in the field.

Someone told me “I ain’t reading all that mama” after I was explaining why language is fluid and there is no actual WRONG way to pronounce a word. Literally turning away factual information because it was “too long”.

Saw someone told a literal EXPERT ON LANGUAGE “me when I’m lying” as he tried to explain linguistical fact. This man had all their accolades are in their bio to indicate they are actually an expert - they have Dr. in their fucking display name.

They literally do not care about bettering their minds. They do not WANT facts/empirical evidence. They just want to be loudly wrong and sassy.
