We suggest new visitors start here, as well as regular visitors who have questions.
We don't utilize content warnings or trigger tags, expect to see all sorts of subject matter discussed on this blog. Tags are mainly used for broad topic categories, such as #shipping problems or #anime fandom.
As such, content may be NSFT. We don't check ages of blogs, but recommend that users be 18+. Viewer discretion is advised.

Please keep discussions civil. Outright bigotry or low-effort trolling will result in being blocked, as well as repeated rude or disruptive behavior.
Submissions are received via the ask box and are all treated as anonymous.
We copy the text of each submission directly into the image without any alterations, so any misspellings or typos are as received. The only thing we may alter is line spacing for the sake of readability or fitting into the image, or any emojis that do not translate over.
Do not include your own Fandom Problem number when submitting your problem. It is not going to be posted right away and makes things confusing when we are trying to search for response asks.
Please be patient, we have a very large backlog (currently 3000 inbox items, with the queue set to post 19 times per day). Our oldest inbox items currently are from January 2026.
Do not re-submit your problem because it hasn't been posted for a while. We understand that it's easy to forget and mistakes happen. However, if it gets to the point of becoming spam it may result in being blocked.
Our focus is on queuing the oldest inbox items, but occasionally will mix in submissions from the middle of the inbox for variety.
If you change your mind about a submission and would like to have it deleted, we can do so, but you need to provide as much information as you can remember in order to be sure we're deleting the correct one. Things like the topic, time frame in which it was sent, or any specific phrases used that were used may help us narrow down our search. Assume that your request has been seen and handled even if your ask wasn't answered publicly. A submission will not be deleted once it has been posted publicly to the blog, however.

The sims 2 fandom can be so toxic sometimes, especially on the premade sims side of things. People get hate for not shipping Nervous/Pascal (or for not thinking Nervous is a softboi baby gay-- I'm sorry, he has 0 nice points, he is probably a jerkass), or for not 100% agreeing with someone's niche gender and sexuality headcanons. If you think Pascal Curious is cishet, you might get called queerphobic or transphobic.
I feel like longer wait times between seasons / movies have also contributed to worsening fandom discourse. Longer the wait, the more people sustain themselves with fan content, the more attached they get to fanon / headcanons, the more upset they get when the new story knocks down those headcanons, the more people lash out.
"you can't get made at underage fans for getting involved when you're sexualizing underage characters!" yes I can it doesn't matter if the adult content features underage characters kids still have no business there. No it doesn't matter if the adult content is of a children's franchise. No it doesn't matter if it's a cutesy art style. No it doesn't matter that a kid could intentionally ignore the age warnings. As long as the creator tags and rates it for adults, they are blameless. Always.
Salty that I see so many people say they love people with country accents or headcanon characters with it when me, a real person, gets bashed for it and people immediately clock me as bigoted despite me not saying anything I am such. Just that I happen to be born as a fucking hillbilly, that's it, nothing else. It just seems so hypocritical, it's ridiculous and insulting.

It's your text, just run it through machine translation real quick and you're gonna have more interaction...
When a prequel movie about MC's birth blows up unexpectedly so now you get a bunch of people talking about MC's gay dads and how cute MC is as a baby without any resemblance of how MC actually is in the show itself. Nothing against any of the above I would just love to see posts that's actually about the themes conveyed instead of "they're so yaoiful", from people who haven't watched the series and the ivenitably comments that think it's a yaoi.

I do gotta know: as someone who has lived through the great tumblr porn ban 2018 and since then they have completely nuked everything related to the NSFW tag and their other sub categories, does anyone still tag their raunchy arts/fanarts and fics as “lemons” and “limes” or am I the only one that still does that old 2000s fashioned way (I also visited the lemon tag on this website and it wasn’t completely banned lol, but I do see a lot of lemon as in the fruit itself in that tag)
