@salt-n-tigers and anyone else who got one of those popcorn poppers because of me make sure you use denatured alcohol for the fuel. I've heard that some of these poppers say to use mineral oil but it's super sooty. I found denatured alcohol in the hardware store next to the paint thinner.

Yeah the instructions say outside weather can do that. If you have a tray or something that can block the wind it would be a big help.

I’m trying to block the wind but I’m too far into it to walk away now.

Also I'm not sure how high the sterno flame reaches. The alcohol burner kinda wraps the whole cylinder in flames.
