Imagine the surreal insanity of being Irina Petrova and just hanging out having a hobby that you're very intense about and then you notice something weird and then all at once your name is one of the most uttered in history, by total accident. In the movie universe they describe her as a "radio telescope enthusiast" she does not even do this professionally. And suddenly everything is Petrova line, Petrova frequency, Petrova wavelength, Petrovascope, Petrova Task Force, Petrova problem. And you're like man. I have a day job.

You absolute queen, my family LOVES this movie and NOBODY else I’ve met knows about it! Literally last week I went on a ten minute monologue to convince my kids’ piano teacher to go watch it. Anytime we have to leave with expedience we tell each other it’s time to r-u-n-n-o-f-t. When we see cows on the road we are compelled to announce to each other “oh George, not the livestock”. I have sung pretty much every song off the album as a lullaby for my children. It is one of the defining movies of my childhood. That and The Three Amigos. Literally such a gem of a movie I could gush FOREVER

the entirety of the room is visible from your current position at the sole entry and exit point. the door opens outwards, and there are no objects within the room to hide behind or inside.

I think this is just what you get when you put a bunch of puppeteers in a room and tell them to go crazy.
