Chili and creamy mac and cheese come together in one pot to make a hearty and tasty dish called One Pot Chili Mac and Cheese. Everyone in the family will love this quick and easy one-pot meal.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, diced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes. 1 15 oz can tomato sauce. 1 15 oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed. 2 cups beef broth. 2 cups elbow macaroni. 2 tablespoons chili powder. 1 teaspoon cumin. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. Fresh cilantro, for garnish optional.
Instructions: In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook for a few minutes until the onion is translucent. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, beef broth, elbow macaroni, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender and the sauce has thickened. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
