Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened. 1 cup white sugar. 1 cup brown sugar, packed. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats. 1 cup chocolate chips. 1 cup chopped nuts optional. 1 cup colorful sesame seeds.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the oats, chocolate chips, nuts if using, and colorful sesame seeds. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
