They accidentaly admitted they only accuse men of misogyny. Ooops!

This whole misogyny vs. misandry arguments makes sexism seem like the result of a few bad apples. “If we could just get rid of all men that tell other men to bottle up there feelings and treat women like trash then the world would be a better place” when that’s not how it works at all. Any one, including other women, can contribute to sexist ideas, or practices without even realizing that they’re doing it. In reality Misogyny can effect women and men, and Misandry can effect men and women. It’s not as clear cut as two groups facing completely different problems totally disconnected from each other. 

Yes, women see the worst sides of sexism and usually get the short end of the stick but that doesn’t mean men are completely untouched by sexist stereotypes. This is a part of intersectionality, maybe not the most important part but an issue none the less. Bigotry doesn’t exist in an air tight bubble. 

Sexism is sex-based prejudice, systemic or not.

Most of the people who say misandry is a thing say it happens at all levels of society, not just a few isolated people. It’s the social justice folks who insist sexism has to be ‘systemic’ in some way, and therefore men can’t be victims of it.

Feminists claim this is based on ‘the Patriarchy’ or ‘Toxic Masculinity". In other words, a systemic problem.

Which is not the same as ‘sexism’ to feminists, I hasten to point out.

Why not just say “men and women can both be sexist against men or women”?

Most models of ‘intersectionality’ I’ve seen don’t even acknowledge ‘men’ as a 'victim’ category, period.

And on the other hand, even if I concede that «bigotry against women and minorities can have worse consequenses than bigotry against men and minority groups, therefore it’s not as bad if I’m bigoted against them!» if they can say half the shit these people say, while having the world view they do, I have to say they’re dumb af with no sense of self preservation.

If men, white people and straight people were as evil as some people on this site claim, they’d have a lot worse stuff to complain about on their hands, and they’d be very very quick to be silent in sheer fear of what would happen to them if they didn’t.

This does look terrible for them, since given the facts the stories of the defendants and police are obviously not true. They stopped to handcuff a man who was bleeding to death and undoubtedly saying that he was bleeding to death and leaving a trail of blood behind him. His attacker stabbed him four times in "self-defense" and then chased him down over a fence in "self-defense" and his mom hid the murder weapon in "self-defense" and was really sad that it happened which is why he fled and didn't tell anyone he did it.

Fence off a section of blackberry bramble, introduce goats, wait.

Goats would eat it down to bare earth. Lather, rinse, repeat. Of course, it's not a permanent cure. If they stop letting the goats at it, the blackberry brambles come back.
