+In my au the ASL start out in an orphanage before being adopted.

+Makino is a worker at Dandan's orphanage and works part time in her family's bar.

+Buggy, Crocodile, and Mihawk are married with three kids they adopted/ had from a previous marriage (Robin, Perona, and Zoro)

+Ussop's mother is a nurse.

+Shanks and Benn are married, Uta is biologically Shanks', the mother left her with him and they aren't in contact.

The incident that brought the brothers closer and made them officially accept each other as brothers was when Luffy had his first ever seizure.

They had to share a room for a bit, at that point they were fine with each other, Ace and Sabo weren't hostile like the used to be, but they didn't care much for Luffy and tolerated him.

One night Luffy just wouldn't be quiet, no matter how much Ace and Sabo asked him to. So in a fit of anger Ace threw him with his pillow, but Luffy kept making noises. Ace jumped out of bed and put on the lights to confront Luffy, but all he sees is luffy convulsing and throwing up on his bed. It scared both Ace and Sabo shitless, they ran to get Dandan and she put him on his side. Once the fit was over he was rushed to the hospital.

It was only when Luffy was brought back two days later that they learned of his diagnosis, they silently started watching luffy, and have been there for most of his seizures. They also make sure he takes his meds on time and gets enough sleep.

Ace, Sabo and Luffy meet at Dandan's orphanage, Ace and Sabo were 13, Luffy was 11. Sabo still has his scars.

When Luffy was brought in Ace and Sabo didn't like him immediately, no matter how persistent he was. But he was worming his way in regardless. And after an incident with Luffy they became brothers.

Sengoku : Yeah, it’s quite nice actually.

Smoker : ...

Sengoku : ...

Smoker : We should check on him.

Koby: Why?

Marine Luffy: I want to wander around playing it to annoy Akainu.

Koby: Technically, you don’t actually need to know how to play the trumpet well for that.

Luffy: They do.

Anyway-

Ace, before he gets his devil fruit, does fire acts, anything to do with fire really.

After he got his devilfruit it got more intricate. He also did some acrobatic acts with his brothers

Sabo became an acrobat, he is the best out of the three brother's when it comes to acrobatics

Luffy is tricky, cause on the one hand I see him in acrobatics, but, he'd also totally be the person shot out of a cannon or taming Richie along with Moji,

I'm picturing kid Luffy in some clown makeup to match Buggy, all the ASL have some clown motif going on,

I just think circus performer ASL is neet

Like you can't kill as well if you're tired and haven't been eating right dammit!

A good user is a healthy user!

The Crowbar definitely makes sure whoever is wielding it takes better care of themselves, he can't physically do anything, but he can nag, and that works 99% of the time

The Crowbar: hey man you haven't slept in a while, why not take a nap?

User: I'm fine

The Crowbar: GO TO SLEEP!

Shanks is devastated because his baby has too many scars yet that hat is in perfect condition.

Anyway on a lighter note Shanks is the only one besides Luffy who has gotten his hands on the Cursed Crowbar and not immediately been told to kill everyone.

I'M SO SORRY THIS IS LATE!😭

But I one 100% agree! Luffy made sure to keep Shanks hat safe and in perfect condition, he had it locked in a safe on whatever ship he traveled on, only taking it out to remind him of when he wasn't as miserable

Luffy might be scarred and damaged, but he refused any harm coming to his hat
