Hi Mason!! I hope youâre doing well, and love your answers they are so helpful. My question is, if you could go back to the beginning of your shifting journey knowing what you know now, what would you do differently??
Iâve known about shifting since 2020 and have only attempted to shift about 30-ish times, enjoying the scripting more than the attempts tbh. But I really want to start to try again. I just feel like I have no idea how to begin. All of the knowledge I have about shifting is old shiftok misinfo. So where should I start? And what do you suggest as far as routines / methods go?? Honestly, if I could talk to my younger self, I'd tell him to throw all the stuff he knows out of the window.
For years I was so hyperfixated on there being some kind of ''key'' or ''answer'' to shifting. I wanted to figure out how it works, which methods worked the best, how to get symptoms or results quickly.
At some point shifting stopped being about shifting, and instead became this chore that was mainly made up out of ''I have to do this,'' or ''I can't do that.''
The moment everything changed for me, was when I realised that it doesn't matter. Infinity means infinity. Everything is possible. There are no rules, no musts, no buts. You can shift however, whenever, and in no way do you have to stick to any methods or routines that other people made up.
It can absolutely be very useful, and you obviously are always allowed to do exactly whatever feels right to you, even if that includes strict routines. But you don't HAVE to, and I think that made the difference for me.
Shift in whatever way is most comfortable for you. A shifting attempt doesn't have to be 4 hours, or take a lot of energy. Your ''shifting attempt,'' might very well be to sit down with a cup of tea and think about where you want to go to!

Hi! You can use orange for success, creativity, confidence, ambition. Or yellow for positivity, intellect, clarity, happiness, focus. Or even green for success, good luck.
Or if you have a personal colour you associate with your goal. If you canât get any of these colours, white will do :) just focus on your intention and visualise getting good grades while painting
stop trying to âarriveâ in your DR. feel where you are and flow.

we always discuss how we arenât separate from our drs, how thereâs no disconnect between us here and us there. and yet every single time, you go into an attempt trying to arrive. trying to wake up as if you havenât already been there the entire time.
why?
because youâre not actually trying to shift. youâre trying to confirm.
youâre trying to feel it here, see it here, know itâs happening here because you donât trust that itâs already happening without your supervision. you start simulating the arrival, so you can monitor every sensation and know youâre doing it âcorrectlyâ.
but thatâs just resistance to the natural flow of shifting. itâs pressure. when you feel like you have to focus on arriving in order to receive, you interrupt yourself from actually shifting because youâre over monitoring. you take yourself out of the experience and replace it with you watching yourself experience. when you focus too hard all it means is youâre performing. taking it so seriously so that you donât âmissâ the moment. but nowhere in this situation are you actually coming to terms with the fact that youâre already in your dr.
youâre just containing it. shrinking it into little parameters in hopes you can control and validate the shift before you allow yourself to flow into it. thats not what allowing yourself to shift means.
allowing yourself to shift is acknowledging that you already exist in your dr. therefore trying to create an entire narrative that doesnât come naturally to you makes no sense. let the imagery come to you. let the dr chase you. you donât have to have intense focus. you can just daydream and let it be chaotic because thatâs flow. flow is not correcting the scene. itâs not steering every detail. flow is letting the information remain unfinished. itâs letting the picture paint itself.
allow the experience to be what it is! donât dampen it by focusing on if youâre there yet. the answer is always yes! you are there. now trust that and allow your dr to form around you, instead of trying to forcefully form your thoughts around it.

Whether youâre consistent with journaling, never tried or youâre intimidated by writing your thoughts out for anyone to come across⌠this is my take on utilising writing to aid your shifting process. I keep multiple journals and itâs one of my most favourite things to do. Iâll always have one, I use them in every reality. Hopefully you find something useful <3
đ Why keep one?
Like any benefits of writing, it can be therapeutic, give clarity, comprehension, focus, improve memory, be creatively stimulating, an outlet, etc.
Benefits :
-Tracking your patterns and process. Helps you become aware of your behaviour and thoughts patterns. See where you have and havenât made process.
-Finding what works for you. What methods, affirmations, tools did you like using or helped you shift? When itâs time to try something new. To start relying on yourself instead of shiftok.
-Reinforces belief and assumptions. Builds confidence in yourself and choices through repetition. Rewiring limiting beliefs. Creating your own beliefs with structure behind it. Redefine your meaning of success.
-Clarity and intent. Maintain your intention. Avoid misdirected efforts. Bringing in motivation to attempt.
-To come back to. See where you were at a month ago, 3 days ago. Observe yourself. What was going on when you were shifting consistently or got close. Making connections. Seeing what you learn and unlearn through time. Where youâve grown, where youâve stunted.
-Strengthens visualisation. Drawing, writing, making collages can strengthen an emotional connection when youâre putting in so much personal detail. Zero in on your DR. Immersion.
-Reduce anxities. Getting down circulating thoughts and understanding why theyâre showing up. Making it easier to confront. Just getting it out of you. Not feeling âstuckâ in your reality.
-Grounding. Facing doubts will be increasingly easy to overcome. Brings more clarity. Immersion. Sustainable success, confidence.
-Keeping memories. Remembering your shifts, providing as much detail as possible. Rereading it just as clearly ad you experienced. Reminder you can shift when youâre in ruts. What you want to remember forever.
Among more, just mentioning my own experiences and what I find most helpful.
âď¸ What is it?
Itâs pretty self explanatory. Itâs a dedicated space to document your journey. (Ideas below)
It can be kept in a physical notebook or on your device. You could get locks put on them.
You can write as much or as little as you like. Consistent or not. Daily, weekly, no schedule. Thereâs usually some pressure and perfectionism around the idea of journaling, which can be discouraging. Sometimes you just need to make a start.
Journaling demands nothing but for you to show up, and it doesnât matter how. Your book will change with you, so finding the ârightâ aesthetic supplies to motive you, with all the pretty Pinterest stickers, glitter gel pens, washi tape and perfect writing format is pointless if you havenât even tried to write yet.
Use them if you want of course, but pressuring yourself to prioritise making it look pretty and pristine will a lot of times make you procrastinate and counteract the purpose of why youâre writing.
Thereâs no rules unless you make them!

âIf you havenât shifted write down how you would tell your friends or shiftok how you shifted, what happened. Any details you would include. Write in present tense as if it already happened
there is no one fits all when it comes to shifting. stop doubting your ability. do as you please. do however much or however little you want. skip steps, take forever, get sidetracked in your own imagination. and stop thinking youâre doing it wrong. because there is no wrong way. change that. release that. that shouldnât hold any power over you !!!because shifting can look like setting intention mid yawn before bed and for others it will look different. stop letting imaginary rules hold authority over you. itâs inevitable regardless of how you choose to approach it.
i shifted. i got married in a dr. i spent a few weeks in a different one. i tasted other lives.
it happened for me properly when i got off of shiftblr and shifttok. not to say that these arenât good communities with worthwhile information, but for most people, thereâs no need to linger here.
if youâre honest with yourself, everything you read lately is a different angle on the same point, or something you already knew. donât force yourself to overthink. you know more than enough by this point.
You are constantly remembering. You choose to remember your name, age and background all the time. You choose to remember the hurt people have caused you from ten thousand years ago. You choose to remember the days of the weeks and subscribe to countless systems that were set up previously when you can just choose differently.
Remember that you are source above all else. Above all the limited labels. Above the opinions of others and even yourself. You are the light of the world. You are the everlasting consciousness that exists within all things therefore nothing is ever separate from you because nothing could ever be.
âI Amâ isnât a technique or method that helps you cheat your way to your manifestation. Itâs the utmost recognition of you remembering who you are. Up until this point, everything youâve ever claimed yourself to be has been reflected back to you in some form within this physical experience we call life.
âYou are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections.â
No, you donât need shadow work. No, you donât need to heal your inner child. No, you donât need to make amends with those that offended you. There is nothing wrong with you. The only thing that might be âwrongâ is you thinking there is something wrong. Even that is a false judgement.
You are not required to work out how you can achieve something or how anything can work out for you. You must simply remember it has already transpired in your favor.
There is no true opposition, Anything you think is in your way when it comes to âmanifestingâ or creating the life you want only âexistsâ due to your awareness of it.
You experience reality based on who you say you are, not the other way around.
Stop trying to listen to your âegoâ that tells you to do more. Stop listening to âcoachesâ or âteachersâ that insist you need to work on your self concept or nervous system regulation. You have it already and you donât need to do anything more.
Why would the source of everything have techniques or regulating it needs to do? Oh yea, when you donât know who you are and still identify as a hamster on a wheel.
Did you need to take all these extra steps before you found out what manifestation was? No. So you damn sure donât need to do any of that bullshit now. I said what I said.

âYour strengths and what you could utilise more.
It feels like you seemingly have it all. đ¤ˇââď¸ you have a bunch of tools and information at your will. You get a lot of opportunities and you work hard with them. Youâre extremely determined but you may not stick with your methods and tools for long.
You like clean slates and fresh starts, and probably are immediate to clean up physical messes. Along with this, youâre quick to know what doesnât work for you and drop it without another thought. You try to take every opportunity given to you.
While youâre abundant in resources, it feels like you donât see a lot of things through to their full potential. Or you only see tools worthy for one use. (Method = shifting to DR.) If you donât get that exact thing you want, then it goes down in value to you. This can be a great thing! This is still one of your major strengths, knowing what doesnât serve you and not keeping yourself stagnant. But I think youâre dropping things a littleeee too quickly.
A method can also equal = experience
A subliminal = confidence
Reprogramming your mind = long term success
It feels like youâre building up more of an apothecary than your brew. Again, this is helpful in moderation. Be aware of overindulgence and even consumerism for part of this collective.
2. âStirring The Potâ :
âActions to take.
Again, I see you moving too quickly through things. This could be an attention issue, and to combat this you could do what you actually have fun with. This could be harder for this collective to know about themselves cause youâve collected so much information and tools. No worries, though! Working with your intuition could be beneficial. To save you some time and research, it just means to go with your gut, basically. If you have a preference for awake of sleep methods, do one. If you like doing 3 senses instead of 5, do that. If you donât like it, donât do it.
Some of you could have crystals and if you already have them, use the crystals mentioned in the cards!
Simplicity seems to do well with you all. You could be putting your attention and effort into the wrong things without even realising. Maybe youâre making fresh starts from the wrong place, cause it seems like you restart a lot.
Like refreshing a method or tool but not refreshing your intention. (Swapping out a method for another method while keeping the same goal; getting to your dr, for example.) Of course we all want to shift, itâs what weâre here for. But some of you probably havenât gone beyond your goal of âshifting to your drâ. Some of you need a reality check of how real your drs are.
A lot of this collective could be neurodivergent, Iâm trying to be straightforward but not rude! <3
Another way for you to find out what you like and what works for you is going into an attempt without a step by step plan, tool or method. Letting your intuition and gut guide you again, going through with whatever comes to mind and continuing it if you find it enjoyable.
If youâre still a bit stuck, use 2-3 things from others methods and stick with it for a bit. Reflect on how attentive you were while doing it, how enjoyable or challenging it felt, why you think it did or didnât work, answer whatever other questions and prompts come to mind. Trying journaling to keep reflecting!
Itâs funny cause itâs almost telling you to stir less or slower. Meditate with your ingredients before throwing it into flame.
Shifting to waiting room realities could also be helpful. Or to a parallel reality to combat doubts of your abilities or how real shifting actually is, if this resonates.
3. âIncantationâ :
âWhat mindset helps you best.
Know how to thrift, see potential in what you already have. Thereâs so much value in your intuition alone, and yours is so strong.
The Buds card came out very first shuffle, making me think if something clicked for you in this reading, act on it right now. Even if you donât know what to do next. Make an act and sit with it. It could be easier for you to feel out what you like and what works best if you do it first, rather than letting it sit around in your head.
Knowing youâre not taking in anything wrong, dirty or bad. Or that one little mistake or misuse doesnât have to trigger a full, deep cleansing. It wonât throw you off track or make you start over, you can move on. Thereâs a reason intrusive thoughts donât manifest.
Again, what you already have is enough. Donât keep searching for more online. Everything you have has potential already, materially and intuitively.
Skew your view on what you think are boundaries. Maybe not being able to visualise is a blessing in disguise cause it pushes you to use your senses more. Or maybe you learn you donât need to feel your senses as much as you thought cause you donât end up feeling anything when you do shift anyway. Maybe feeling like you wonât shift to your dr cause your surroundings noises remind you too much of your cr, you end up shifting to a parallel reality of your cr instead.
Imagine that tall, concrete, unmoving wall has a door randomly appear that leads you straight to your dr. The wall didnât magically manifest it for you, your mind and assumptions did and made it reality.
Expansion isnât coming from a physical item, it can help you feel secure like a safety net, sure, but itâs not actively making you shift. Itâs reassurance, find ways you can reassure yourself without relying on what someone else sells you.
4. âPotionâ :
âHow using what you possess will manifest.
Iâm going to give a dot point list cause I think this collective likes it better. (This is in no order.)
⢠Transmutation. Change your view of things. Change a glass half empty to a glass half full. Make peace with what you got. You can change audio with a thought.
⢠Use what you already have, intuitively and materially.
⢠Taking care of yourself in your CR. Shift when you want to, not when someone else is telling you to do it now cause the stars are perfectly aligned.
⢠Grounding. Meditation before you shift. Let Feel your body. Calm yourself and take your time.
⢠Knowing thereâs no time limit. You donât have to shift before this event, or by this date, or wait til a tool is in your possession. Or you can only shift in Fridays at night. Or that your entire day had to go well in order to have that energy flow and shift that same night.
⢠Reflect, reflect, reflect. Reflect on what youâve reflected on. Are there any patterns?
⢠Knowing thereâs so ONE set way to succeed.
⢠Looking forward to shifting, whether you shift to your DR or not.
⢠Realising you decide to shift. Following a step but step guide by some rando is just reinforcing that you donât have the control or decision to do what you want.
⢠Gratitude. I didnât shift to my dr but I had a dream about my dr! Or I like what I visualised last night! Or I liked just going to sleep without trying to shift! I liked meditating before bed! I didnât like using my 5 senses but counting to 100 felt nice! I liked doing something on the spot before planning what Iâd do! I liked trying to shift in the morning rather than night like I usually do!
⢠Not overcompensating. Cause thatâs only affirming to yourself you need to be doing the most just to shift. đ¤¨
⢠Knowing you donât have to DISCOVER the foolproof way to shift or achieve whatever you desire. Itâs only piling up and taking in so much information wonât stick, you wonât remember it all by going so fast.
⢠Knowing you have already shifted without the intention before. (Parallels, manifestating, decisions.) Shifting with the intention is just as easy, if not more.
What came up for me while reading: harvest, different types of spoons for different meals, ADHD, OCD, cleanliness, washing hands constantly, not proof reading, emphasis, loud surroundings, less is more, messy writing, misspelling, writing in the margins, distractions, smoke cleansing, picking at skin, flourite, amethyst, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, pointed crystals, Aquarius, not feeling connected to body, FOMO, feeling like time is running out, rushing, Aquarius Mercury, Labyrinth (1986).

This group had a lot more cards come out than I intended wow.
I feel this collective is full of life, you know how to make things fun and interesting for yourself and others. You could be good at healing too, or making comfortable spaces.
There could be two sides to you aswell, maybe you really embody your DR self or you follow a âfake it til you make itâ mentality. Or thereâs a side to you thatâs private or not shown? I donât know, thereâs just a feeling of discomfort or disconnect when youâre alone. And you could have a reality that you always come back to.
Acting as your DR self seems quite motivating and resonates with you. And you do this very well!
You may be really involved in the shifting or manifestation community. Maybe your real life friends and family are shifters too? Your online friends are shifters? Either way youâre connected to your community and you can be protective over them.
You love being surrounded by people most of the time. Especially other shifters and âlikeminded folkâ I hear? This is pretty beneficial to you in most ways.
Thereâs some sort of guilt also? Religious guilt? Or an emotion thatâs undealt with, cause I canât quite label it. There could be certain people you hide shifting from, again, giving off thereâs two sides to you.
Your physical home could be pretty comfortable, or more so at night.
You have great support around you a lot of the time. You draw in lots of attention and youâre very welcoming, you could give and take with your communities. You adapt and embody effortlessly, and you probably donât realise how much your CR self is now genuinely your DR self! (As embodying the desired traits.) Faking it til you make it. đĽłđ¤Š
2. âStirring The Potâ :
âActions to take.
You could use your space more. Creating a sacred space for your shifting, manifestation or spiritual work. Whatever you follow.
You could be energetically sensitive? Picking up on peopleâs energy and soaking it up like a sponge, you may not even realise this sometimes. I donât know why but I feel like youâll have more of your creativity come out by curating an area for yourself. Iâm thinking candles, a vanity or a mirror?
For some of you, providing proof will be beneficial. You could have grew up in a religious or spiritual household? You could be questioning what you grew up with, so having a space to yourself will really solidify your own beliefs of things. Thereâs general uncertainty with this topic so I canât say much more.
Also in this space Iâm hearing to let your spiritual gifts flow? So besides manifestation and shifting, you could have clair abilities đ
Biggest thing to utilise right now is your space.

Encouragement from others is really good for you and while you should definitely still use that, you shouldnât be encouraging yourself too. Your biggest motivation will come from yourself. This isnât about providing or proving anything to anyone else.
I know Iâm saying a lot of the same things over and over, but this could be a sign you really need to solidify something to see exponential progress.
You could be looking into âfoolproofâ or sustainable ways to consistently shift, manifest or combat your doubts. This will ultimately come from you, Iâm not telling you to isolate yourself, you have great influences around you! Creating your believes and having your community support that. This feels really significant. Encouragement leading to success.
Recycling what you have? You could have a gift for something, and Iâm getting you should find a way to recycle that for shifting and manifesting. This is very general but I think this is for you to figure out. You could love breaking things down anyway.

I really wanted to read this collective first, so there might be some theme of you guys starting something up.
Immediately I feel that this collective doesnât let things get to them, or at least present that. You have all the tools, I hear. And you repurpose many things and everything you keep around you has purpose. You give many opportunities to seemingly the mundane or useless.

What I see commonly with people who arenât shifting or not getting exactly what they want, they are quick to label themselves as âstuckâ, and I donât see this with you guys. You can change things to benefit you effortlessly. Whether thatâs a mindset change, gratitude, using something differently, and so on.
You might not realise this but youâre very resourceful and accomodating. You create easily with stick and stone, and honestly I donât think you realise how valuable and admirable this quality is!
You could feel quite connected to whatâs around you but not your body. Especially material items in your space. You consume with intention and a goal in mind. You likely know what you want, how youâll go about getting it, and how it will work in your life once you have it.
You may be the type to plan a lot, not necessarily following rules directly but you benefit off routine, goals, and clear intent.

Thereâs a possibility of you hibernating your craft and abilities? Or using it selectively when you really want something. Not that this is bad, breaks are important, I just feel like you have a subconscious power that runs deeply. Generational?
Something about shifting could intimidate you. The process of getting there? Maybe something with timing is constantly on your mind. When something will happen, when itâs the right time to act, the concept of time itself.
I feel like you should just have a go. đ¤ˇââď¸ You seem fairly lucky and more than capable of getting what you want. You donât have to do something huge, just multiple little acts will make a difference.
A lot of things could interest you: shifting, manifestation, deityâs, witchcraft, altered consciousness, astral projection. GET INTO IT. đ
Just the way the colours of the cards are lining up makes me think you like steps or instructions, different to rules. Or you like knowing the base of things before you can go about it your own way. So why do I feel like youâre not doing this in terms of shifting? đ I feel like you work well in the physical world, but spiritual world intimidates you. An unknown aspect? But it also wildly intrigues you?
Having some sort of protection or safety net could benefit you. Iâm picturing a person having a fishing rod tied around their ankle while they dive into a body of water, and an astronaut having a tie around them connecting to a spaceship while they drift into space.
A big act for you to take is reassurance for yourself.

Protection. Full stop. Reassuring yourself. Protection doesnât even have to come from something physical like a rope, crystal, talisman. It can be a change of thought that your thought is enough. That you know your current limits and youâll pull yourself out when you need to.
If that doesnât resonate then trusting and following your intuition is great. You know what to do already, which I get in infuriating to hear cause itâs so vague. You could start trusting yourself by following little acta of gut instinct. Getting a feeling to eat something else, going a different way than you regularly do. Little. Things. Build. Up. Over. Time. đ And I personally think itâs best and most efficient for changing your mindset. Little work, little time consuming, but strong and lasting.
Indecision could help some of you in some weird way. Where youâre not forcing yourself to follow steps or routines, or making yourself wait to look into something before doing. Going into things with just your intention and nothing more could surprise you.
Mysteries intrest you and draw you in but a lot of you are psyching out before you can go any âhigherâ with spiritual work. Let them. A big thing for this collective is to just try something out, literally anything at this point.
