hii mason!! i hope that the sun is shining, the birds are singing and all is well as u read this. my question is how you got to the point where you could shift pretty frequently.
i saw your post where you said your first shift happened through daydreaming, and then after that you started shifting more and eventually learned how to do it intentionally. i feel like i'm kind of at that stage now, so i was wondering what that process was like for you.
i feel kinda silly asking because i KNOW i can do it, i've shifted before and i've probably consumed everything i ever could ab shifting but i'm still struggling to actually make that jump into shifting consistently. so anything about that process, or anything you could share that'd be so helpful thank youu :>
Hello! Thank you, I hope the same for you!
For me that switch kind of came when I had shifted a bunch of times, but I realised that, when shifting (half) asleep, the reoccurring problem was that I scared myself back. The confusion of actually being somewhere else, led to me consistently shifting back within the first few seconds or minutes, and simultaneously I started noticing how my not-shifting-just-daydreaming method started becoming more and more about shifting, I'd focus way too much on any sign that it was happening again, which defeated the whole purpose of me shifting because I wasn't actually trying to.
That's when I decided to make a change.
At that point I already knew that I could shift, I just wasn't entirely sure how to achieve it at a moment that I decided I wanted it.
So I stuck with my original approach, shifting without necessarily forcing it. But at the same time I switched to awake shifting only, and deciding the time and place when I wanted it.
I'd do small exercises, listen to music, close my eyes for a few minutes and envision something from a dr, keep my eyes open and watch the world change around me, daydream a little, meditate, count, affirm. Anything that felt right in the moment. The whole point was to not put pressure on myself over it. I simply did what I enjoyed, when I felt like it, and kept trying to see shifting as a bonus, not the only goal.
Obviously this didn't always work, I still got frustrated, I still forced it too much sometimes, and I still got disappointed if it didn't work for some time.
But I slowly started seeing an increase in results! Sometimes only symptoms or small changes, like feeling the wind, seeing the sun, or hearing the trees. Other times I got bigger results, leading to almost or fully shifting.
Eventually I had my first proper shifts where I decided to come back myself, and that was a huge milestone! After that I got way more confident, and I also got the practice of shifting between other realities, which helped with my mindset here as well.
Then over time, naturally, shifting became easier, quicker, and it stopped being something I really worried about or tried to force. Which brings us to the present, where I'm in a blessed position where, luckily enough, I don't struggle at all with shifting!
I hope that gives you some insights💚
