Heya, recently I've gotten into shifting and I've gotten symptoms before but I unfortunately never saw anything :( and I keep on overthinking shifting as a whole and it has really discouraged me from trying.

There was a time before I knew about shifting where I stayed aware while falling asleep and I started to see patterns and I've been using that for my motivation but it didn't help very much.

Listen I love notion/google slides as much as the next person I do, and they of course can be super pretty and aesthetic and cool and so customized to your Dr...... but god do I miss physical scripts sometimes.

I used to go pick out a specific notebook, spend hours designing and making each page, write everything out by hand and there was always something so magic about that.

Anyway here's a couple pages of my old Dead Poets Society script that I found, its so pretty and makes me nostalgic!!'

the melody walk method

i genuinely think people overlook how powerful music can be when it comes to shifting. instead of trying to force yourself into your desired reality, let yourself naturally exist there.

this works best when you’re already lying down, whether that’s before bed or while taking a nap. put on a playlist that reminds you of your desired reality. it doesn’t matter what genre it is as long as it feels like your dr.

close your eyes and let your mind wander.

don’t try to control everything. let each song become its own memory. maybe one song is you walking through your school. maybe the next is hanging out with your friends. another could be driving somewhere at night, sitting in your room, laughing over dinner, or just existing there. let the music guide you.

after you’ve settled into imagining, you can start affirming if you want. things like “i am shifting.” “i’m already in my dr.” “this is my reality.” “i feel this music in my dr.” if counting helps you stay focused, you can do that too.

when one song ends, don’t open your eyes. don’t grab your phone. don’t think “it didn’t work.” just let the next song play and keep imagining.

when you’re ready to sleep, simply tell yourself, “when i wake up, i’ll be in my desired reality.”

that’s all there is to it.

one thing i really recommend is using the same playlist every time. after a while, your brain starts connecting those songs with shifting, so hearing them naturally puts you into that mindset. this method also works really well for naps because you’re already in a relaxed state.

if visualizing isn’t easy for you, don’t worry about seeing everything perfectly. focus on the feeling each song gives you. imagine the emotions, the atmosphere, and even the familiarity. you don’t need to visualize to feel like you’re already there.

shifting doesn’t have to be complicated. sometimes all you need is a playlist, your imagination, and the willingness to let yourself experience your desired reality.

YOU are the one making shifting seem harder than it actually is

people have overcomplicated shifting so much that people genuinely believe it’s supposed to be hard.

it's not..

the biggest thing holding most people back isn’t a lack of methods or symptoms, it’s the belief that shifting is something you have to earn.

you don’t earn something that’s already available to you.

every reality already exists. every version of you already exists. shifting isn’t about building a bridge to your desired reality because there was never a gap in the first place. your awareness is the only thing that’s changing.

stop treating methods like they’re some magical thing. they’re tools. if a method helps you focus, great. if it doesn’t, that’s fine too. the method was never really why anyone ever shifted.

also STOP obsessing over symptoms. tangles, numbness, floating, spinning, none of that means you’ve shifted. it doesn't mean you haven’t either. they’re just sensations. your body falling asleep isn’t what moves your awareness.

the only thing you actually need is the decision to experience another reality. not hope. not a hundred affirmations because you’re scared one won’t be enough. a genuine understanding that shifting is natural.

once you stop putting shifting on a pedestal, it becomes a lot less intimidating.

you don’t need permission.

you don’t need to be “chosen.”

you don’t need to wait until you’re "more worthy".

you’ve been aware of different experiences your entire life. shifting is simply directing that awareness.

the easier you allow it to be, the easier it tends to feel.

sometimes the only thing standing between you and your desired reality is the story you’ve been telling yourself about why you can’t get there.
