3. Hi, and thanks for your work! I'm looking for a fic where WWX and WQ have sex to fill the time in the Burial Mounds and WQ gets pregnant... and after WWX dies, LWJ finds WQ and insists on marrying her for the baby's legitimacy. On their wedding night, LWJ tells WQ that he won't consummate the marriage that night because he's a cutsleeve, and WQ realizes he always loved WWX. Cut to thirteen years later. Resurrected WWX turns up to find that LWJ and WQ have been married for years and have several children. When I read this story it was a WIP and WWX never found out that the eldest son was his (or that he'd been the third in the marriage since day one, and there was no reason to be jealous about it). The main detail i remember is that WWX had an erotic dream about LWJ either right before or during the cloud recesses arc, and after they get together LWJ admits to having had a dream around the same time of older versions of themselves living together and was inspired to pursue WWX because he was jealous of how happy his dream self was. 11. I read a fic where Wangxian were married and raising A-Yuan in a modern AU but it’s set after lan zhan mysteriously disappears/is assumed dead. Wei Ying is grieving and raising A-Yuan alone when some time passes and mysterious things happen such as someone leaving cookies for A-Yuan from a bakery that closed a while ago. Another instance someone leaves food for Wei Ying at his work place, exactly what he likes and it’s implied lan zhan disappeared bc he traveled to the future and can now reunite with Wei Ying. It never went further than that, it wasn’t complete I think or just an open ending. I can’t find it in my bookmarks and read it last earlier this year. If anyone happens to know the name or something d be grateful. Even better if someone somehow has the link as in maybe posted it as a rec on tumblr somewhere so I can use the Wayback Machine.

I remember LZ traveling, possibly by train, to visit WY at the beginning of the fic and then later they end up living together. Lan Yuan is in the fic as well, I believe he was adopted and is a young child. However, I seem to remember that he was actually their child and was somehow separated from WY at birth, so possible mpreg. The Lans own a medical conglomerate or hospital. Wuxian feels very guilty and agrees to go to gusu clan to face punishment . Xichen stays in Qinghe and binds his core to wangji's to keep him alive(This is revealed later in the fic after wuxian knows wangji is alive) . Xichen never lets Wuxian (who is in isolation in gusu) know that wangji is alive and lets wuxian live with that guilt for around 2 years. Wuxian then sneaks off to Qinghe (for some reason with someone nhs i think idr) and he bumps into wangji and basically refuses to believe that wangji is real and thinks it's a nightmare again and passes out. 15. Hi! I'm hoping you could help me find a WangXian fic I read once on AO3 and can't find since. It's a modern AU which begins with WWX having to live in his car for some time because he's unhoused. He gets a call from Lan Xichen who asks him to petsit a spiritual rabbit that used to belong to Lan Yu while he has to travel. The rabbit is actually LWJ whom Lan Yu turned into a rabbit until he learns some sort of lesson. WWX agrees, happy to have somewhere warm to stay. I remember bunny LWJ is frustrated WWX doesn't eat or take care of himself so he brings him his lettuce to try and remind him to eat. Later WWX goes on a nighthunt and returns seriously wounded. I don't remember why he can't go to a hospital. He feels he can't call Wen Qing for help so he calls LWJ but LWJ of course can't answer and WWX passes out thinking LWJ doesn't even care enough for him to answer his call. Meanwhile bunny LWJ is frantic trying to help WWX in some way and the danger of the situation allows LWJ to break Lan Yu's spell on him. He turns human, calls Wen Qing and she comes over to stitch WWX up. The fic ends with them confessing their feelings for each other and WWX agreeing to move in with LWJ. 3. itmf any lan xichen centric fics where he starts to realize on his own that hes being played. Maybe its before wwx's death, or during the 13 yrs of wwx's death, or he picks up on discrepanices post wwx's resurrection but prior to the big reveals at the end of the novel. But like he picks up on something on his own, and threads in his current perception of whats true and been happening around him start to unravel.

In 'a heart undying' by nonsensicalrambling on ao3 theres a jgy pov with interesting characterization where jgy holds no affection toward lxc beyond getting off on abusing the picture of himself that he fed to lxc being believed, and lxc being his 'fav' cause hes so *Good*, & easy to manipulate. In the '12 moons and a fortnight verse' theres some excellent indepth examination of lxc's long term reactions post reveal of jgy's and nhs duplicity and his own culpability in crimes. And in a fic i cant recall it skirted around hinting that lxc ignored lwj's testimony in favor of other less closely associated people, due to 'i am big brother' superiority and unaknowleged internalised abelism toward an autistic lwj. So, interested in complex examination of lxc character and why he was able to be fooled, how he was able to have a 'good relationship' with his brother after everything. With him taking action about something in some way (with reasons for his agency and lack thereof). Esp bonus points if he makes these discoveries when things havent already been 'fixed' by others. (Like finding out ur lil bro's bff forever that hes been pining after since high-school is actually innocent and u had a hand in their demise, hits a lot harder if u find it out *before* he's miraculously been resurrected).

What is Right? In chapter 59 of What is Right…, Lan Xichen’s father learns a bit about what happened in the future and he leads his son step-by-step through evaluating how he had become so influenced by Jin Guangyao in the canon reality. Although it isn’t Lan Xichen figuring out on his own how easily he was manipulated, the author provides an amazing analysis of how things came to be so I thought I’d mention it.

4. itmf any fics where someone tries to assassinate wwx, anywhere in the story timeline (that arent qiongqi ambush - or if it is done in an atypical way).

Few i know of already: "escaping the tiger's mouth" someone gets him with an arrow when hes alone near their base camp during sunshot campaign (wrh ordered it cause they registered wwx as a threat and like acted on it, its like in the first chapter and he lives but the incident materially effects the sunshotcampaign and his interpersonal relationships). I think theres a few variations of jin zixun poisoned the wine wwx drinks for lz (either deliberately, or with something that was non lethal to cultivators but potentially is to core-less people). And i cant remember but there might be something in rise of divine oracle by blak salt. And theres one fic i cant remember the name of where lz hadnt met wwx before and hes sent to spyon/take the evil yiling patriarch 'out' before he and his new sect can become too powerful but discovers the rumors are false and hes actually a good guy.
