Like. Ok. It took me a long time and a lot of work to get to this point but tldr, it’s a combo of feeling confident in your presence and taking the space you deserve AND the people around you sparking said confidence and making space for you. Both need to exist. If either of those are lacking then the feeling will present itself, and you simply have to do something about it. I was drowning in the sea of that feeling everywhere I went until I had enough of suffering needlessly and made my own pond. Doing so is no small task by any means but my GOD it is worth it.

my main problem with llms isnt that they exist. besides all the labor and consent issues which are big parts of my disdain what pisses me off the most about llms is that the people selling them as though they are artificial general intelligence for sure 100% know that theyre fucking not. llms are amazing advancements in machine generated text looking human like and even potentially have uses for summarizing long texts though i honestly dont trust them to but the number one rule of machine learning is that an algorithm will do exactly what its told and an llms job is to SOUND right. not BE right.
