one of my favorite parts of Madney is that Maddie genuinely thinks Chim is the coolest, kindest, and most amazing guy (she's correct) right off the bat. and as time passes by, as they become more domestic and dorky and deeper, she still has that belief in how amazing Chim is. she sees him in a way that he always needed and wanted. he is loved by many, that is true, but there's something beautiful in how Maddie sees him.
