8. “Who is a morning person? Who is a night owl?”

>> Due to, yknow, being an exorcist, Teru is kinda forced into being a night owl wether he likes it or not lol. Given the fact he sleeps in the afternoon, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was so much of a night owl that he also ends up being a morning person. He very well might come to school already having been awake for a few hours, but I imagine he’s probably a bit cranky when he gets out of bed in the afternoon. The fact he keeps up with doing all he does with that sleeping schedule would probably be extremely impressive if it wasn’t also so. Sad.

As for Akane, I could definitely see him as more of a morning person. iirc, I think there’s a comic where he gives Aoi a call very early in the morning, and I think he might have been described as a morning person in that comic (?). Akane probably goes to bed awfully early on many occasions, and I could see Teru teasing him about this, like calling him an “old soul” or something……..lol ← I think this would make Akane additionally frustrated when he realizes Teru goes to bed HOURS earlier than he does (even if he doesn’t sleep very long and wakes up when it’s actually nighttime…) ← [[made it about Teru again award]] I bet you guys can’t guess who my favorite is……….🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

23. “Who initiates cuddling more?”

>> ‘Initiates’ is a strong word, so is ‘cuddling’, honestly, but I could see a sleepover where Teru rolls over in his sleep and Akane wakes up with Teru in some strange position that looks like an alien trying to recreate a hug from memory, but if they kept having sleepovers eventually they might become more comfortable with just hugging each other straight out. They won’t admit it verbally though. I could see a lot of silly arguements coming out of this.

Alternatively, disregarding sleepovers (and thinking more general hugs than cuddling) probably Akane. Neither of them are capable of being normal about very many things but Akane is marginally more normal about physical contact than Teru. I could definitely see Teru initiating hugs sometimes, like once in a blue moon when he’s very emotional and needs help or something (i.e. dropping by Akane’s house after getting off work covered in blood because something went wrong), but I could just as easily see the example shown where Teru doesn’t initiate anything. I could see him showing up for help and then just sitting there and Akane’s like “?????” — and then I could see Akane offering a hug and Teru like. Nods or something and Akane hugs him and Teru is still just sitting there and Akane’s like. “Usually hugs go two ways, actually.” ← Like the sleepovers, I could see hugs becoming more natural and less awkward the more they come to each other for support. If you want to get really crazy, maybe at some point one of them could even hug the other at school without really thinking about it (scandalous!)

↑ they also might hug/cuddle or be generally physically affectionate with each other while watching a movie, bonus points if they’re a bit sleepy, because they’re less likely to be paying attention to their own emotional constipation.

If one of them is in a state of like, extreme distress, I think Akane would be significantly more likely to offer a hug as comfort than Teru would be.

26. “Who is prone to road rage?”

>> iirc, in order to get a license to drive a run-of-the-mill average car in Japan, you have to be 18+, but I don’t know for sure, and honestly if all sorts of supernatural entities exist in this universe I don’t think different road regulations from real life is that egregious — but even so, given the nature of exorcism as a job I actually wouldn’t be all that surprised if Teru was concerningly chill with the idea of driving illegally himself. He’d probably be somehow immune to actually getting pulled over and it would drive Akane crazy because the whole time he would be telling Teru to stop driving and call a taxi or a tow truck or someone with an actual license. Teru probably wouldn’t drive illegally though due to largely being more trouble than it’s worth. REGARDLESS in a situation where they can both legally drive, I could see Akane being more prone to actual road-rage, but I could see Teru getting irritated more often, if that makes sense. Akane’s more likely to yell at the car in front of him and Teru is more likely to grit his teeth and grip the wheel very tightly. (I don’t know how driving works) ← I could definitely imagine a situation where Kou is talking to someone, probably Mitsuba, and brings up how Teru sometimes makes his same scary ‘I-hate-supernaturals’ face while driving. I think that would be funny.

I looked it up and appearantly there are 670 cars (haha six seven) per every 1000 people in Japan (same in Luxembourg!). In the United States, it’s 779 cars per every 100 people, if you’re curious.

Regardless of how common it would be to own a car in their area I think Teru’s family would probably have an expensive car given how much money they make lol,,,,,I imagine Akane’s family would probably have a car too. A nice one, but a fairly average one, and Teru would comment on how “quaint” he thinks it is and piss Akane off by doing so. (Bonus points if he actually wasn’t trying to be rude ((for once)) and just genuinely saw it as quaint because he’s used to his stupid-rich Dad’s car lol)

35. “What are their tastes in music?”

>> Akane would probably listen to a bunch of very upbeat love songs, and I could also see him listening to classical music on occasion, and also like one or two guilty-pleasure fnaf fan songs Lemon sent to him.

Teru would listen to random things he heard about while out and about. It’s majority songs from the radio, songs he’s heard classmates discuss, songs he’s heard while watching movies/TV, and a couple Christmas carols. He has absolutely nothing personally relevant/touching to him on there, and if he hears a song that does make him emotional, that emotional response makes him uncomfortable so he stops listening (if possible/assuming it’s not just like. Being played in a public space by someone else) and does not add it to his playlist, and as a result he thinks he probably just doesn’t care much for music. He will start listening to more music he actually likes eventually once he can get over himself.
