#Self rb because this is one of my favorite drawings I've ever done and I keep staring at it in shock because I'm so proud #Look at it again #if you'd like to of course it's totally voluntary #This is actually quite large physically too btw #I usually draw in a 6 x 9.5 inch sketchbook but this one is 9 x 12 #Completely eyeballed that shit from loops portrait too like I don't trace or analyze the stuff before hand I just freehand it in pencil #then go over it and clean up my sketch in more pencil before fine liner (I also pencil mark my cell shading)#Then with this one I just went to fucking town with crayons and pencils and I forgot to mention a crayola marker #Look most of my art supplies are my single box of prisma color pencils or crayola products I've been gifted #It's me and my 64 box of crayons against the world here (and more usually my 24 tin of prisma pencils)#<says the guy that has a whole drawing tablet but still prefers traditional art because the tactile feel slaps #my art

"spiky?" "They're not spikes, they're just light" Several people all quiet The tension is palpable I raise my hand "what if it's like a week old buzzcut? Like. Fluffy but also spiky?" Everyone looks at me and after a bit the person at the whiteboard scratches their chin and writes a sticky note and adds it to the whiteboard next to "Hedged Hog (but not like sonic, maybe like amy?" and "knuckles the red echidna"
